Opening science for sharing, from north to south in the French-speaking world
La science contemporaine aspire à l'universalité, mais, d'une part, les données scientométriques montrent plutôt une science concentrée dans les universités des pays anglo-saxons et, d'autre part, de nombreuses publications scientifiques restent inaccessibles aux chercheurs des pays du Sud et aux citoyens non chercheurs du monde entier. Peut-on ouvrir la science pour mieux la partager et la rendre véritablement universelle ? Ce questionnement est au cœur de ce qu'on appelle le mouvement de la science ouverte, qui se propose comme cadre normatif alternatif à celui de la science conventionnelle. Ce colloque réunit des chercheurs du Nord et du Sud de la francophonie qui partageront leurs réflexions sur ce que pourrait être cette science ouverte, inclusive, aspirant à un véritable universalisme.

Cette conférence intervient dans le cadre des célébrations des dix ans de la Convention de l’UNESCO sur la protection et la promotion de la diversité culturelle. En effet, le numérique, et tout particulièrement Internet, transforme fondamentalement l'économie de la création dans toutes ses dimensions, politiques, culturelles, sociétales et économiques. Dans le nouveau contexte de mise en réseaux des sociétés, des cultures et des industries créatives, le colloque permettra de repenser le numérique et les modalités de son articulation avec la gouvernance (villes intelligentes, coopération internationale et politiques publiques), l’économie (industries créatives, commerce électronique) et le développement (saut technologique, renforcement des capacités).

Editorialisation and new forms of publication
L'édition numérique est devenue un atout majeur pour la recherche scientifique, à laquelle elle lance cependant de nouveaux défis. Le numérique est en effet en train de remodeler l'ensemble du processus de production du savoir, de validation des contenus et de diffusion des connaissances. Aussi, il est plus pertinent de parler désormais d'éditorialisation pour désigner ce nouveau processus qui fait interagir des contenus (ou des ressources), un environnement technique (le réseau, les serveurs, les plateformes, les CMS, les algorithmes des moteurs de recherche), des structures et formats (l'hypertexte, le multimédia, les métadonnées), et enfin des pratiques (l'annotation, les commentaires, les recommandations via réseaux sociaux). Afin de réfléchir aux enjeux de la production et de la circulation des savoirs à l’ère numérique, les journées d'étude « Éditorialisation et nouvelles formes de publication » rassembleront une quinzaine de chercheurs qui se distinguent par leur pensée et/ou leur pratique originale de l'édition numérique dans le domaine des sciences humaines et sociales.

Participatory Media and Moral Panic
Panel on "Participatory Media and Moral Panic" at the Social Media and Society conference
The transformation of the media landscape invites us to rethink the dialectic between "media" and "moral panic", by focusing on the ways in which participatory media enables the public’s participation in moral panic. The coproduction of moral panic, via media participation, can be analyzed to document how individuals, through their relational links, trigger, maintain and propagate moral panic or how these forms of moral regulation affect sociability, notably those stigmatized by the controversial subject. This may also allow the study of how mediatization of social relations, stemming from participatory media, leads to renegotiating a number of democratic balances. These include the relationship between private and public spheres as well as the role of publics in constituting collective dynamics, such as the formation of public problems.

Regards singuliers sur une pratique plurielle : Amos Gitaï
Résolument pluridisciplinaire, le cycle Regards singuliers sur une pratique plurielle (28 janvier au 29 avril 2015) interroge la construction d’un imaginaire médiatique et culturel protéiforme à travers un corpus d’œuvres défini. Les réalisations du cinéaste, artiste contemporain, architecte et photographe, Amos Gitaï, nous paraissent incarner cette diversité. Depuis ses premiers courts-métrages, Gitaï se situe, en effet, toujours à l’articulation entre différentes cultures, à cheval sur différentes pratiques, dans un entre-deux artistique et politique. Dans le cadre de ce cycle, l’objectif est de faire résonner ses films, ses installations, ses photographies, avec différentes approches disciplinaires (archivistique, esthétique, histoire culturelle, muséologie, études cinématographiques, histoire de l’art), afin de faire ressortir la complexité et la diversité qui les caractérisent.
