  Agriculture and the City

  Ce numéro d’Espaces et Sociétés veut revenir sur les enjeux liés au rapport entre agriculture et ville. En effet l’engouement actuel pour les fermes urbaines, les jardins partagés, etc., ainsi que le développement des circuits-courts alimentaires témoignent d’un lien potentiellement renouvelé. On souhaite un examen des effets induits sur l’urbain et sur l’agriculture elle-même, que ce soit en termes d’organisation, d’évolution des pratiques et des techniques, d’allocation des espaces, de mutations économiques et sociales, d’aménagement et d’organisation spatiale et territoriale.

  Foodways and Heritage

  International Conference organized by the Chinese University of Hong Kong (Department of Anthropology). In collaboration with the UNESCO Chair "Safeguarding and Promotion of Cultural Food Heritages" (University François-Rabelais of Tours, France).This conference aims to :1. look at the politics of foodways and heritage, 2. investigate how different kinds of food are produced, sustained and inherited, 3. investigate how they are preserved as intangible heritage for various reasons.
