  IV International Congress Sport, Doping and Society

  Looking to the future

  The IV International Congress Sport, Doping and Society is organized by the Technical University of Madrid (UPM) and the Spanish Agency for Health Protection in Sport (AEPSAD). Under the theme “Looking to the future”, it will be presented the results of scientific researches and new methodologies in the field of doping in sport.From the specific perspective of Social and Human Sciences, we believe that this initiative will contribute to identify the factors that influence the use of doping substances and methods. From this knowledge we hope to foster future prevention and doping control and to promote ethical behavior in sport.

  The construction of the Hispanic hacienda

  State finances, local finaces and tax payers (18th-19th centuries)

  Dans le cadre du programme de recherche de la Casa de Velázquez « La construction de la Hacienda dans la monarchie hispanique (XIV^e-XVIII^e siècle) », ce colloque se propose d’étudier s’il existe différents modèles de gouvernement des finances publiques à la fin de l’Ancien Régime et durant le premier tiers du XIX^e siècle, d’en déterminer les contenus et d’examiner le processus de leur construction. Les territoires de la monarchie espagnole et les États américains qui naissent des guerres d’indépendance au XIX^e siècle retiendront particulièrement l’attention, même si l’objectif est d’établir des comparaisons avec le reste du monde. En somme, il s’agit de systématiser les comparaisons qui se sont faites ces dernières années et qui ont conduit de nombreux chercheurs à renoncer à l’idée d’une singularité espagnole essentielle. Cette première rencontre se concentrera que les finances étatiques, les finances locales et les contribuables.
