  Visible and invisible: perceiving the city between descriptions and omissions

  The conference will focus on the many ways in which the city has been described, narrated, portrayed and quantified in words, numbers and images over the centuries. Description and representation techniques from ancient and medieval times onwards provide an opportunity to initiate a comparison between different cities and contexts, seeking different ways of perceiving the urban whole in its full complexity.

  Les zones humides méditerranéennes hier et aujourd’hui

  Le groupe d'histoire des zones humides organise les 20, 21 et 22 septembre son quatrième colloque international. Le thème retenue cette année est « Les zones humides méditerranéennes hier et aujourd’hui ». Des échanges anciens avec l'Université de Padoue ont permis de faire émerger un partenariat durable qui explique que cette année, le groupe d'histoire des zones humides ait fait le choix de tenir son colloque en Italie.

  Moving Boundaries in Mobilities Research

  This conference, funded by the University of Cagliari and organized in collaboration with the Cosmobilities network, aims at discussing new directions in mobilities research, showcasing the state of the art in the field, and providing a unique opportunity to create lasting links among researchers, especially in the north and the south of Europe. The language of this event will be English but the range of papers presented will be a reflection of the diversity of concerns, approaches and methodologies informing mobilities research in Europe and beyond. Young and experienced researchers are invited to submit abstracts for paper presentations. High quality abstracts on any aspect of mobilities are welcomed.

Sauvegarde de l’environnement et fluctuations spatiales et paysagères en zones humides. 3. Les enjeux actuels de la gestion et du développement des zones humides méditerranéennes. 4. Zones humides et santé en contexte méditerranéen.

  Forum interdisciplinare Giovani Ricercatori per le Alpi di domani

  Dislivelli Association is pleased to announce the second edition of the Interdisciplinary Forum of Young Researchers about the issue the Alps of tomorrow. The Forum is organized by Dislivelli Association in collaboration with Interateneo Territorio Department of Polythecnic of Turin and Philosophy and Education Department of University of Turin, with the support of the Permanent Secretariat of Alpine Convention and the Province of Turin. This biennial Forum aims at giving to the new generation of researchers the chance to meet up, to divulge their researches on the alpine territory and to discuss the emerging issues of contemporary Alps.
