Les compétences du SET en matière de territoire, d’environnement et d’aménagement amènent les chercheurs à développer un outillage méthodologique axé sur un travail d’enquêtes approfondies. Ce dernier permet d’explorer la diversité des liens (rationnels mais aussi sensibles, esthétiques et imaginaires) qu’entretiennent les individus ou les groupes sociaux avec leur espace de vie (territoires, lieux, milieux, paysage), problématique majeure au sein du laboratoire. Dans ce cadre, l'ingénieur(e) recruté(e) confortera les différentes équipes du laboratoire qui utilisent des techniques d’enquête afin d’obtenir des résultats tant qualitatifs que quantitatifs dans les domaines de la sociologie et de la géographie.
