  Georg Arnhold Visiting Research Professorship in Education for Sustainable Peace (2014-2015)

  The Georg Eckert Institute for International Textbook Research is pleased to announce the Call for Applications for the 2014/2015 Georg Arnhold Visiting Research Professorship in Education for Sustainable Peace. The appointment is for a three- to six-month research stay in Braunschweig and offers distinguished scholars from the humanities, political and social sciences, education sciences or law the opportunity to conduct research projects or to finish major publications without teaching or administrative obligations. Individuals with extensive high-level international experience in government or non-governmental organizations or in international organizations may also apply.

  Georg Eckert Institute for International Textbook Research Fellowship Programme 2014

  The Georg Eckert Institute for International Textbook Research will award several short-term fellowships for visiting researchers in 2014. The GEI’s fellowship programme supports research on textbooks and other educational media. Fellowships aim to provide both young and established academics and textbook authors with the opportunity to use the extensive international textbook collection in its specialist library, conducting comparative studies, exchanging ideas and discussing their findings with the academic staff of the Institute.

  Changer l’école dans l’Allemagne de l’après 1945

  Perspectives transnationales

  Cet atelier a pour but d’inscrire l’histoire scolaire des deux Allemagnes après 1945 dans un contexte transnational. Au-delà d’une analyse des politiques de ré-éducation / ré-orientation des occupants alliés, déjà bien étudiées, nous proposons d’articuler le questionnement autour de trois axes de recherche nous paraissant novateurs.

  La remontrance : regards politiques et rhétoriques

  Ce programme de recherche franco-américain (Tours / Madison) entend étudier les formes et les contextes des remontrances durant l'Ancien régime. Ce programme prendra la forme d'une journée d'étude à Wolfenbûttel (2013) et d'un colloque à Tours (2015).
