  The social issues of food and nutritional security in Sub-Saharan Africa

  La chaire « Enjeux sociaux de la sécurisation alimentaire et nutritionnelle en Afrique subsaharienne » associe l’université Paris 1 – Panthéon-Sorbonne (IEDES), l’entreprise Onyx développement et l’Institut de recherche pour le développement (IRD) pour une durée de trois ans. Cette chaire s’articule autour de trois volets (recherche, valorisation/vulgarisation et formation). L’animateur/trice de chaire assurera une fonction de médiation, de coordination, d’animation entre les membres et d’appui aux différentes activités pour l’essentiel de son temps. Il(Elle) sera placé(e) sous la responsabilité du porteur de chaire et travaillera en collaboration avec l’assistant de recherche.

  Field work and writing of the French Center for Ethiopian Studies

  The CFEE, research center (UMIFRE 23) of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and of the National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS) offers to researchers and students in the human and social sciences working on Ethiopia and the Horn of Africa funding for field trips research or for the preparation of publications (writing scholarship)   All applications must reach the CFEE by email (cfee@ethionet.et) before January 15, 2013. All applications will be examined and outcomes will be sent to the applicants by email before February 15, 2013. The applications can be written in French or English and it is advised to ask for an acknowledgment of receipt by email.
