  Thinking the Latin American right wings

  IVth International Congress

  The IV^th International Congress Thinking the Latin American right wings follows the three previous ones held in France (2014), Argentina (2016) and Brazil (2018), which have permitted the constitution of a community of researchers working on Latin American right-wings. Several specialists from different countries and disciplines have joined in this network, in order to promote projects and studies on this theme, and stimulated the development of new issues related to this political family. The use of various methodologies such as the analysis of political traditions and cultures, representations and imaginaries, identities, networks, sensitivities and memories have made it possible to consolidate a field of study that has become relevant to understand current Latin American political scene.

  Circulation and decentralisation of arts and literature

  2nd symposium of the Guiana Shield

  Loin des centres politiques, économiques, intellectuels européens et brésiliens, la région des Guyanes est un espace hétérogène composé de pays et de territoires rassemblant des caractéristiques uniques. L'université Fédérale d'Amapá (UNIFAP), et l’université de la Guyane française (UG), parce qu'elles sont présentes dans cette localité, sont capables de rassembler les recherches produites dans et sur la région. En ce sens, la II^e journée d’études du Plateau des Guyanes : Circulations et décentralisation des arts et de la littérature s'inscrit dans la perspective de la réflexion sur le « décentrement » de la connaissance. Cette posture implique de réfléchir au rôle des théories et des pratiques académiques dans un contexte situé hors du centre, sans pour autant nier la relation centre-périphérie.

  The “Landscapes” edition of dearq academic journal invites participants to reflect on what has globally been, principally since the beginning of the twentieth century, the evolution of the concept of landscape; the relevant methods of analysis; the methods of representation, of evaluation, and of teaching. This takes into consideration how the concept is a practical project tool that can be used for land-use planning, what landscape’s level of influence has been on the public policy decision-making process, what instruments and regulations have been used, and also how “landscape” and “territory” coexist.

  Feminisms and ARTivism in the Americas (20th-21st centuries)

  Les féminismes contre-hégémoniques sont globalement peu connus en France. La théorie et l’action des femmes états-uniennes – connu sous le nom de black feminism – suscite certes un intérêt croissant chez les chercheur·e·s depuis la fin du XX^e siècle. En revanche, les apports théoriques et les formes de mobilisation des autres régions américaines sont beaucoup moins visibilisés. Envisagé dans une perspective comparative et pluridisciplinaire, ce colloque voudrait approfondir la connaissance de ces mouvements en France. En s’attachant à la pluralité et à la force de leur action, la réflexion portera sur les caractères spécifiques et leur contribution à la lutte contre les oppressions de classe, de race, de genre et de sexualité. Une attention toute particulière sera portée à l’étude de la pluralité des mobilisations notamment celle qui envisage l’art comme forme de lutte.

  Contemporary poetics and politics of thee body

  From a comparing and transversal perspective, gathering different theoretical and artistic subjects, this congress aims at opening an interdisciplinary dialog, as well as  putting into play the different questions that contemporaneity asks about the body. Knowing their territorial cultural differences, each historical period produces a different concept of body and person, which is intimately connected to what goes around on the artistic, theoretical, technological, social, politic and economic fields that sustain it. From an interdisciplinary point of view, this meeting intends to propose and get on the tracks of an investigation that can favour understanding the construction of corporality in our contemporary context.
