    Women, Religions and Gender Relations

    International Association for the study of Religion and Gender (IARG)

    Interest in the subject of “Women, Religions and Gender Relations” has intensified especially from the mid-1990s in Europe – more recently in Italy – spreading beyond the borders of the sociology of religion and gender studies. The call is designed to offer a platform to scholars to present their research on the topic and exchange their ideas on research findings at an international level.

    RN 28 Society & Sports - Appel à Communication ESA 2013 (Turin)

    The Esa Research Network 28 ‘Society and Sports’ aims at strengthening the visibility and legitimacy of the sociology of sport within the European sociological community. As such, the Esa conference in Turin 2013 will offer, besides the regular stand alone sessions, a broad range of joint sessions in which the sociologists of sport can discuss and exchange their knowledge with colleagues from different but overlapping sociological fields (such as health, gender, emotions, globalization, consumption, and many others).

    Interdisciplinary Forum of Young Researchers about the issue the Alps of tomorrow

    Dislivelli Association is pleased to announce the second edition of the Interdisciplinary Forum of Young Researchers about the issue the Alps of tomorrow. The Forum is organized by Dislivelli Association in collaboration with Interateneo Territorio Department of Polythecnic of Turin and Philosophy and Education Department of University of Turin, with the support of the Permanent Secretariat of Alpine Convention and the Province of Turin. This biennial Forum aims at giving to the new generation of researchers the chance to meet up, to divulge their researches on the alpine territory and to discuss the emerging issues of contemporary Alps.
