Économie de l'énergie entre déserts et océan
Troisième congrès international sur l'Ééonomie du désert
The ultimate purpose of the International Congress on Desert Economy – Dakhla, is to be a scientific and multidisciplinary platform on desert and Sahara economy development, in order to contribute effectively to the good governance and in the sustainable development of desert regions, by stimulating meetings between all stakeholders on a global scale, with a view to fostering cooperation and partnership, among (Sahara) desert countries (Africa, the Gulf States, the United States of America, China, Australia...), with the aim of creating a conducive environment to the exchange of experiences, expertise and innovation, around themes related to desert and Sahara economy development, such as: Tourism and travel industry, agriculture, renewable energy, raw materials, transportation and logistics, sea and ocean economy, technology and innovation, entertainment and sport economy, cultural and intangible heritage, nature and environment.

XXIIIe conférence mondiale de l’UIPES sur la promotion de la santé
Le « Health Promotion Forum » de Nouvelle-Zélande, l’Union internationale de promotion de la santé et d'éducation pour la santé (UIPES) et leurs partenaires sont heureux d’accueillir cet important évènement de santé publique, à Rotorua, en Nouvelle-Zélande en avril 2019. Le but est de fournir une occasion inégalée de lier et démontrer la contribution de la promotion de la santé à l'accomplissement des objectifs de développement durable (ODD) et de reconnaître la manière dont les ODD contribuent aux améliorations de la santé et du bien-être.

Understanding and stimulating social sciences and humanities impact and engagement with society
Training school
This training school provides participants with insights into the theories and practices of stimulating impact creation from social sciences and humanities research. It will focuses on three specific dimensions. Firstly, creating a conceptual understanding on the specificities of social sciences and humanities (SSH) impact and non-linear impact models. Secondly, alternative appropriate policy frameworks for maximising SSH impact. Finally, we will explore ways of supporting scholarly practices to optimise the creation of impact through SSH research, and capturing this with evaluation systems.

The VIII workshop on institution, individual behavior and economic outcomes, is organized by CRENoS, Dipartimento di Scienze Economiche e Aziendali, University of Sassari and University of Cagliari, and the University of Corsica Pasquali Paoli. The scope of the event is to give participants the opportunity to present their work in progress to an audience of interested peers and get valuable feedback for improving their ongoing research. Both the format and the location of the workshop have been chosen to provide an ideal setting for promoting knowledge sharing and social interactions conducive to collaborative research networks.

Tourism in Indonesia and Southern Countries
A vector of sustainable development?
The objective of the conference is to analyze the effect of tourism, questioning more specifically in this second edition its potential for becoming a vector of sustainable development, understood in its more general sense. Within this framework, we will question its economic impact, as well as its social effects, on Indonesia and Southern countries. We are interested in knowing how extra income is redistributed to the local population and whether it affects, or on the contrary, strengthens the traditional organizations of the communities, bringing new actors, investors, decision-makers in the traditional social organization.

The BUFTOD conference is a dedicated arena for the debate on TOD, allowing the crossing of scientific disciplines and the associated approaches, exchanging on cases studies at the international level (in Europe, Americas, Asia ...). Les bouleversements consécutifs à la Grande Récession ont renouvelé les termes du débat sur la santé du modèle américain de capitalisme, paradigme économico-politique qui, à la fin du XXe siècle, était encore considéré comme un parangon d'efficience économique dans la majeure partie du monde. Plus de quatre ans après le déclenchement de la crise des subprime, l'économie américaine demeure dans un état critique, et le « modèle » américain, qui a porté atteinte à la santé économique des Américains, réduit la richesse de la nation et plongé l'économie mondiale dans une crise de vaste ampleur, s'en trouve fortement discrédité. Ce colloque se propose d'apporter un nouvel éclairage sur la nature, la vigueur et la viabilité de l'économie des États-Unis et sur le paradigme économico-politique qui lui est associé. -
