  Cinéma, image et politique : le dilemme des avant-gardes dans l’entre-deux-guerres (1918-1936)

  Dans ce dossier pour la revue d’histoire contemporaine Hispania Nova (université Carlos III de Madrid), nous nous proposons d’explorer la relation entre la crise du système libéral qui succède à la Grande Guerre et l’utilisation de l’art et de l’image comme moyen de communication politique ; il s’agira d’étudier comment le langage cinématographique a pu refléter les transformations politiques, sociales et économiques de l’entre-deux-guerres dans les pays industrialisés.

  XIV journées Complutenses d'art médiéval

  Les XIV^e journées Complutenses d'art médiéval proposent d'aborder la question de la matérialité comme facteur essentiel de la production artistique, ainsi que la poétique de l'immatérialité et la dimension intangible de l'expérience esthétique au cours du Moyen Âge. Les propositions de communication autour des thèmes suivants sont bienvenues : conditions matérielles de la création artistique ; pratiques et moyens sous-estimés ; utilisations poétiques et sémantiques du matériel et de l'immatériel ; histoire culturelle des matériaux ; sensorialité et immatérialité ; « transmatérialité » et « transmédialité ».

  ¿Qué criterios han de guiar la selección del Arte Medieval? ¿Siguen siendo válidas las valoraciones que conformaron la historia del arte medieval en los siglos XIX y XX? ¿Se ha revisado el canon para hacerlo acorde a los intereses, métodos y perspectivas de la nueva historia del arte entrado el siglo XXI? Y, no menos importante, ¿de qué modo podemos conocer el aprecio y el prestigio de que gozaron las obras en el momento en que fueron creadas?

  Intervenciones. Cine – arte – política

  Revista “La región central”, vol. 1 no. 1

  This first issue of La región central explores the idea of intervention: reciprocal interventions between cinema and contemporary art, but also interventions on the social sphere that may help think the political dimension of contemporary art practices. We propose a monographic issue attending to the political dimension of cinema and contemporary art relations through theoretical and more practical, case oriented critical approaches. We seek to interrogate not just the textual dimensions or phenomenological frames of apprehension of moving images, but also their poetics of production and their potential to critically intervene the social sphere.

  Networks, collaborative practices and projections in contemporary art

  International symposium on and from Edgardo Antonio Vigo

  Twenty years after the death of E. A. Vigo, the Instituto de Historia del Arte Argentino y Americano (IHAAA) dependent on the Secretaría de Ciencia y Técnica of the Facultad de Bellas Artes (UNLP) invites researchers in art history, visual studies and art theory to submit proposals focused on his work and the issues he raised throughout his career. The International symposium on and from Edgardo Antonio Vigo convenes to discuss and reflect on the legacy of the artist, considering specific aspects of his production, as well as possible projections of these issues in contemporary art.
