Analizar lo social desde una perspectiva género, ineluctablemente implica dar cuenta de la historicidad política y epistemológica del concepto. El género como categoría heurística guarda en su seno el calor de los debates y las luchas feministas, pero también los intentos de su sistematización teórica. De aquí reside la dificultad que el feminismo -en tanto campo de estudios y praxis política- encuentra al analizar y repensar el binomio género y religión.
