  El tercer congreso internacional sobre economía del desierto

  The ultimate purpose of the International Congress on Desert Economy – Dakhla, is to be a scientific and multidisciplinary platform on desert and Sahara economy development, in order to contribute effectively to the good governance and in the sustainable development of desert regions, by stimulating meetings between all stakeholders on a global scale, with a view to fostering cooperation and partnership, among (Sahara) desert countries (Africa, the Gulf States, the United States of America, China, Australia...), with the aim of creating a conducive environment to the exchange of experiences, expertise and innovation, around themes related to desert and Sahara economy development, such as: Tourism and travel industry, agriculture, renewable energy, raw materials, transportation and logistics, sea and ocean economy, technology and innovation,  entertainment and sport economy, cultural and intangible heritage, nature and environment.

  El Foro de Promoción de la Salud de Nueva Zelanda, la UIPES y sus socios están deseando acoger este importante evento mundial de salud pública en Rotorua (Nueva Zelanda) en abril de 2019. La intención es ofrecer una oportunidad sin precedentes de vincular la contribución de la promoción de la salud a la consecución de los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS) y demostrarlo y reconocer la forma en que los ODS contribuyen a mejorar la salud y el bienestar.

  Microfinanzas y la Nueva Izquierda Latinoamericana

  The conference brings a number of stakeholders from the microfinance sector, social and political movements, New Left governments as well as academics together in order to discuss and clarify these issues.  We expect to contribute to a common frame of analysis and to identify avenues for a more fruitful articulation of microfinance strategies with the emancipatory agendas of Latin American governments and social movements. The conference is a joint organisation of the Latin American and Caribbean Forum for Rural Finance  (FOROLACFR), the French Microfinance Network  CERISE (Comité d’Échange, de Réflexion et d’information sur les Systèmes Épargne- Crédit), the Center for European Research in Microfinance (CERMI, Mons University) and the Institute of Development Policy and Management (IOB, University of Antwerp)
