1989 gegründete Florian-Znaniecki-Wissenschaftliche Stiftung plant die Herausgabe eines Bandes in der Serie Soziologische Monographien unter dem Arbeitstitel “Contemporary migrations in the humanistic coefficient perspective. Florian Znaniecki’s thought in today’s science”(„Gegenwärtige Migrationen in der Perspektive des humanistischen Faktors. Der Gedanke von Florian Znaniecki in der heutigen Wissenschaft”). In diesem Zusammenhang laden wir ein, die bisher nicht veröffentlichten Originaltexte in englischer Sprache zu versenden, die der Anwendung des Gedankens von Florian Znaniecki in den gegenwärtigen Migrationsforschungen gewidmet sind.

Geoarchaeology, defined as the application of geosciences and geographical methods to prehistory, archaeology, and history, is now widely applied to study key subjects such as occupation patterns, territory and site exploitation, palaeoclimatic, palaeoenvironemental, and palaeogeographical changes, as well as anthropogenic impacts and system responses. The multidisciplinary and multiscalar dimensions of geoarchaeological approaches have encouraged continuous development and innovation of methods and approaches that have opened new possibilities for explorations in geographical sectors previously inaccessible, the development of large-scale data acquisitions and treatment, and also the development of microscopic scale analysis precision. This session will highlight global research in geoarchaeology with particular emphasis on innovative methods or cutting edge research using established approaches.

Evaluation of a region’s renewable natural capital

The purpose of the post-doc research is to test and possibly validate the feasibility and relevance of ecosystem capital accounts (SCEEA-CEC) or, said differently, the contribution of natural capital to productive systems, in a regional context (the Rhone river basin). The approach should cover the following aspects: availability, collection and processing of geographic and monitoring data and statistics, relevance of the assessments in natural and social sciences, relevance of the information tools ability to support the regulatory and economic instruments of environmental governance of institutional and territorial spaces.

Special issue of Méditerranée (2014)

This special issue will look at the climatic, environmental and social dimensions of the Little Ice Age (LIA) in the Mediterranean, between the second half of the 13th to 19th centuries. Contributions should derive from the Meditterranean area, including its mountainous borders, and can include sedimentary and palaeoecological records, in addition to written and iconographic sources. The editors particularly encourage multidisciplinary studies.

Les textes s'appuieront sur des recherches finalisées qui privilégient les échelles fines d'analyse. Les territoires concernés relèveront prioritairement du bassin méditerranéen. Les contributions doivent être soumises avant le 30 juin 2012 et ne pas excéder 38 000 signes. Marketing Strategies for Public Performance

Le secteur public a pour finalité de produire un impact sur son environnement. La performance publique se situe donc à l'interface de l'organisation publique et de son environnement et ne peut être mesurée ou gérée sur la seule base de ses ressources et activités internes. Justement, le marketing, entendu de manière extensive (Kotler, 1969), est en charge de gérer les relations d'une organisation avec l'ensemble de ses partenaires extérieurs. L'incorporation des dispositifs marketing dans les systèmes de mesure de la performance publique semble donc inéluctable, pour le meilleur et pour le pire. L'objectif de ce numéro spécial est de réunir des recherche empiriques focalisées sur les modalités et les effets de la mise en œuvre des démarches marketing dans le secteur public.
