  L’unité de recherche Histoire et critique des arts (EA1279) de l'Université Rennes 2 recrute un postdoctorant, dans le cadre du projet de recherche : Mapping Architectural Criticism. La critique architecturale, cartographies intellectuelle et matérielle, sous la direction d'Hélène Jannière, Professeur d’histoire de l’architecture contemporaine. Le contrat proposé est d'une durée de 18 mois, temps plein, à partir du 1er mars 2018.

  The International Federation for Public History (IFPH-FIHP),  together with the American NCPH and other associations and cultural institutions, are participating to an important workshop on Public History organised by the History and Civilisation Department,European University Institute together with the EUI Max Weber Academic Careers Observatory Programand the Historical Archives of the European Union, in Florence-Fiesole, Italy, 11th, 12th and 13th February 2015.

  Princeton-Weimar Summer School for Media Studies

  The Princeton-Weimar Summer School for Media Studies – a collaboration between the Bauhaus- Universität Weimar (Internationales Kolleg fürKulturtechnikforschung und Medienphilosophie, IKKM) and Princeton University (German Department) – returns to Weimar in 2015 for its fifth installment. The topic will be “Archive Futures: Operations, Time Objects, Collectives”.

  DHLU Symposium 2013

  This third edition of Digital Humanities Luxembourg will focus on the various ways in which online sources are used by humanities researchers, particularly contemporary historians and more specifically specialists in European integration. The Symposium will be structured around the following research clusters: "Data retrieval, analysis and visualization’’, "Community reading’’ and "Writing history & Assessing scholarship’’.

  Between International, Transnational and Global History

  Information Technologies at Borders, XIXth-XXIst centuries

  Dealing with the history of electric and electronic informations’ borders crossing, the summer school will evocatingly take place where one of the very first transatlantic television transmissions occured, in 1962 in the northern part of Brittany. It aims at providing doctoral students with an overview of relevant research results and of innovative tools and methodologies in the field of communication history in an international / transnational / global perspective.
