  L’unité de recherche Histoire et critique des arts (EA1279) de l'Université Rennes 2 recrute un postdoctorant, dans le cadre du projet de recherche : Mapping Architectural Criticism. La critique architecturale, cartographies intellectuelle et matérielle, sous la direction d'Hélène Jannière, Professeur d’histoire de l’architecture contemporaine. Le contrat proposé est d'une durée de 18 mois, temps plein, à partir du 1er mars 2018.

  Secondo seminario di ricerca del programma «Lettresarts. Lettres d’artistes. Pour une nouvelle histoire transnationale de l’art (XVIII^e­‐XIX^e siècles), organizzato dalla École française de Rome con il supporto della Bibliotheca Hertziana - Istituto Max Planck per la storia dell'arte. A un anno dall’inizio del programma di ricerca Lettres d’artiste, questo seminario si propone di fare il punto sulle ricerche in corso nel quadro del programma, analizzando i primi risultati e affrontando le questioni metodologiche ancora aperte circa il censimento, la schedatura, il trattamento informatico e l’analisi degli epistolari artistici tra Sette e Ottocento.

  New approches to Ruskin on Art and Architecture

  En prévision du bicentenaire de la naissance de John Ruskin en 2019, ce colloque permettra de rassembler, de présenter et d'échanger de nouvelles approches de la part de jeunes chercheurs à propos du travail de John Ruskin, à la fois critique d'art, théoricien, historien d'art, artiste et commentateur du XIX^e siècle avec une attention particulière sur son travail concernant l'art et l'architecture compris pour constituer le noyau central des engagements de Ruskin en terme de société et d'expérience.

  Art history for artists: interactions between scholarly discourse and artistic practice in the 19th century

  The conference seeks to examine the shaping of art history as a discipline during the 19^th century in relation to artistic training and exchanges between artists and scholars. The development of art history has been associated with an array of socio-political and economic factors such as the formation of a bourgeois public, the politics of national identity and state legitimacy or the needs of an expanding art market. This conference aspires to explore yet another, less studied dimension: the extent to which the historical study of art was also rooted in an intention to inform contemporary artistic production.

  Faire l'histoire de la mode dans le monde occidental

  Ce colloque international propose une réflexion pluridisciplinaire sur les expériences, les concepts et les discours des musées ou des universités, sur leurs origines intellectuelles et les cadres institutionnels qui permettent de les produire, dans la diversité des contextes locaux ou nationaux. L’objectif est de mieux comprendre les différentes logiques scientifiques pour faire apparaître de nouvelles convergences dans le domaine de la recherche, ouvrir sur une coopération internationale renouvelée.
