La ville est un espace en renouvellement continu qui ne cesse de se reconstruire sur lui-même. Comment concevoir la ville de demain, en prenant en compte son histoire et en tentant de cerner au mieux les besoins à venir ? Comment répondre aux aspirations de ses habitants, actuels et futurs dans un contexte où les compétences administratives sont mouvantes – et donc incertaines – et où les moyens financiers mobilisables se raréfient ? Comment notre volonté de créer des logements, d’accueillir de nouveaux habitants, d’être audacieux dans l’aménagement d’espaces publics… peut-elle intégrer au mieux des aspirations sociale, environnementale, citoyenne et technologique fortes ?

Smart Port

Intelligent Platform for Smart Port (IPaSPort)

The development of ports and their environment (hinterland and logistic corridors) needs innovative technological solutions. These solutions concern the new technologies of highly communicating components (Captors, RFID, Internet of Things, etc.) as well as new information systems aimed to integrate the complexity of huge databases (Big Data intelligent management). The objective of this international conference is to join researchers and engineers interesting on the development of new spatial-temporal tools for port development, able to integrate the multiplicity of challenges for territorial development and efficiency, respecting environment and predictive impacts of climatic evolution.

Ports, maritime transport and regional development

The adaptation of maritime and port actors and the vagaries of globalisation

Pour la première fois depuis plusieurs années en France, le laboratoire IDEES – Le Havre de l’université du Havre, associé au CNRS, organise un colloque international sur les ports, le transport maritime et le développement régional les jeudi 12 et vendredi 13 juin 2014 à l’université du Havre. Cette manifestation scientifique d’envergure internationale a pour objectif de réunir les chercheurs et professionnels du domaine maritime et portuaire pour deux journées d’échanges. Les sessions plénières, tables rondes et ateliers permettront de comparer différentes approches disciplinaires aux questions maritimes et portuaires,et de dresser un état des lieux des recherches dans une démarche de prospection des tendances émergentes.
