  Innovations in medicine and in hospitals, past, present and future

  Technologies, researchers and patients

  L’ancrage social et citoyen de l’hôpital, objet d’un précédent colloque organisé par la Société française d’histoire des hôpitaux (SFHH), ne saurait être compris sans faire référence à ce qu’apporte aujourd’hui l’hôpital, parfois dans des conditions difficiles, dans le domaine de l’innovation médicale et aussi organisationnelle, les deux aspects étant étroitement liés. C’est pourquoi cette rencontre nationale et internationale est organisée sur le thème de l’innovation médicale et hospitalière, hier, aujourd’hui, demain. Technologies, chercheurs et patients. Les études attendues pourront concerner une période allant de l’Antiquité à nos jours, avec une attention particulière accordée à la mise en contexte des innovations médicales et hospitalières.

  Scholarship, prize and job offer - Education

  Louis D’Hainaut Prize 2016 for the best thesis in educative technology

  L’université de Mons (Belgique) et l’Agence universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF), à travers son Institut de la francophonie pour l’ingénierie de la connaissance et la formation à distance (IFIC), s’associent pour décerner le Prix Louis d’Hainaut de la meilleure thèse de doctorat en technologie éducative, pour la troisième fois au mois de mai 2016. Il est réservé à un docteur ressortissant d’un pays du Sud dont la thèse a été soutenue il y a moins de trois ans. Le Prix est ouvert à tout chercheur du Sud ayant obtenu une thèse de doctorat au sein d’une institution membre du réseau de l’AUF (du Nord comme du Sud), sur un sujet portant impérativement sur l’usage des technologies en éducation.

  BRIT XIV : Border Regions In Transition

  The Border: a source of innovation

  BRIT (Border Regions in Transition) is an international network of researchers and practitioners dealing with issues on borders. The objective of this conference is, with a transdisciplinary approach (geography, political science, economics, sociology, anthropology, history), to contribute to a collective reflection on innovations related to border and cross-border dynamics. The decision to set BRIT next to the Franco-Belgian border in 2014 falls within the symbol. A century after the declaration of the Great War, the aim is to trace the evolution of the border between France and Belgium, which started from “front” border to end with « sewing » border. If it once represented a split between two territories, the border has now come to represent an element of welding these two territories. The field day will offer a contact with these concrete realities.
