  Quand les femmes filment : le documentaire dans la péninsule ibérique et dans le continent latino-américain

  Ce colloque international et interuniversitaire aura pour objet l'étude de la production documentaire réalisée par des femmes des pays de la péninsule ibérique ou du continent latino-américain. Il a pour visée de repenser, dans une perspective transdisciplinaire, les cadres épistémologiques de l’analyse de l’image documentaire. Il réfléchira aux manières dont les films documentaires, maintenus dans une double marginalité, celle du documentaire et celle due au statut des femmes, ont agi comme des opérations d’intelligibilité du monde.

  Myth and Audiovisual Creation

  V. Internationale Kongress der Mythokritik „Mythos und audiovisuelle Gestaltung”

  Der V. Internationale Kongress der Mythokritik „Mythos und audiovisuelle Gestaltung” ist eine Initiative des Forschungsprogramms Acis&Galatea, finanziert von der Autonomen Gemeinschaft Madrid und dem Europäischen Sozialfonds der EU. Der Kongress findet an vier Standorten mit den folgenden Themenschwerpunkten statt: „Germanische Mythen“ an der Universität Alcalá, „Klassische Mythen“ an der Universidad Autónoma, „Biblische Mythen“ an der Universidad Francisco de Vitoria und „Moderne Mythen“ an der Universidad Complutense. Beitragsvorschläge von interessierten Wissenschaftlernkönnen an einen der vier Standorte gesendet werden. Hierbei soll die Rolle des Kinos, der Fernsehserien und der Videospiele bei der Gestaltung und Adaption der antiken, mittelalterlichen und modernen Mythen in der heutigen Welt untersucht werden.

  The “Landscapes” edition of dearq academic journal invites participants to reflect on what has globally been, principally since the beginning of the twentieth century, the evolution of the concept of landscape; the relevant methods of analysis; the methods of representation, of evaluation, and of teaching. This takes into consideration how the concept is a practical project tool that can be used for land-use planning, what landscape’s level of influence has been on the public policy decision-making process, what instruments and regulations have been used, and also how “landscape” and “territory” coexist.

  Work on screen: social memories and identities through cinema

  Since the early 20^th century, work in contemporary societies has suffered several processes of change, which, in the context of the current economic and employment crisis, demand equating the structuring of social identities that are built and modified through work. During this period, cinema has been a privileged vehicle for the creation and dissemination of representations on work and, therefore, the shaping of social memories. This international and multidisciplinary seminar aims at gathering and discussing contributions that analyse the social processes involved in the formation of work identities and representations through cinema. It welcomes papers that highlight the main continuities and discontinuities of work memory narratives from the early 20^th century to the present days, based on the analysis of specific films or bodies of films (both documentaries and fictions) and their reception.

  Durant 5 jours, dans le village d’Avanca, le cinéma est avant tout rassembleur et provoque des rencontres fructueuses entre les participants, transformant ainsi Avanca en un véritable Village du Cinéma, une scène de partage, de débat et de dissémination de la recherche. La conférence Avanca | Cinema affirme son importance tant au niveau national qu’international, de par la moyenne des participants mais aussi grâce à la diversité thématique qui la caractérise tout au long de ces  5 éditions. Organisée en parallèle avec le Festival international de cinéma d’Avanca, ceci en fait un événement complet, qui offre aux chercheurs, membres du milieu académique, réalisateurs, producteurs, acteurs, critiques, techniciens, et cinéphiles, entre autres, un programme diversifié comprenant des workshops, des séances de cinéma, des présentations de livres, des tables rondes, ainsi que des séances parallèles et plénières.
