    Annual conference of the Association française d’études américaines (AFEA) 2017

    This workshop questions the economic dimension of the American dream, and more specifically the role assigned to business enterprise in the pursuit of happiness. In what terms have the different actors of business enterprise defined this contribution, and how have they articulated the material, moral, individual and collective components of happiness?

    European and American Labor Markets in the Crisis

    The French Ministry of Labor, Employment, Training and Social dialogue - the DARES - and the CEPREMAP are organizing an international conference on “European and American Labor Markets in the Crisis” with experts from the academic community and representatives of foreign institutions. The conference will be organized around four themes: the role of the labor market institutions during the crisis; the differentiated impacts across workers; the specific features of the current crisis in terms of productivity, wages and unemployment; the reforms and adjustments of labor policies.
