  The study and design of landscape as a methodological problem

  First Iberian Colloquium on Landscape

  Landscapes present themselves as sceneries we have inherited, where we live, and from where we draw the resources needed to subsist as a civilisation and as a species. The result of our actions on this heritage will be the legacy to our descendants. In the beginning of the third millennium, the interest in the topic of landscape is increasingly important, transforming this discipline in a research platform where several fields of knowledge intersect. The aim of this colloquium is to reflect about the diversity of multidisciplinary aspects, analytical methods, and intervention techniques related to the study of landscape, establishing a forum focused on the future relationship between humanity and landscape.

  Rehabilitation and Re-use of Modern Movement Architecture

  Seminar gathering in Lisbon international experts in architecture rehabilitation and urbanism of the Modern Movement. The seminar organized by Docomomo International will take place at the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, on the 27th of March. In the last decades, the architectural heritage of the Modern Movement appeared more at risk than during any other period. At the end of the 1980s, many modern masterpieces had already been demolished or had changed beyond recognition. This seminar about Rehabilitation and Re-use of the Modern Movement Architecture aims at bringing together inspiring viewpoints about this global problem.

  Semiótica del espacio

  Coloquio Luso-Brasileño

  Tenemos el honor de invitar la comunidad científica a participar en el Coloquio Luso-brasileño bajo al tema "Semiótica del Espacio". El evento transcurrirá entre los días 5 y 7 de Septiembre de 2013, en las instalaciones de la Faculdade de Ciências Sociais e Humanas da Universidade Nova de Lisboa, siendo los idiomas oficiales del coloquio, el portugués y el español.           Le invitamos a visitar la página web del evento (http://www.semiotica-espaco.tk) para obtener más información sobre el coloquio. Las propuestas de ponencias deben enviarse antes del 15 de julio de 2013 directamente en el sitio del coloquio. Esperamos su participación en el Coloquio Luso-brasileño "Semiótica del Espacio" en Lisboa.
