  Lenguas vocales o de señas minoritarias y espacios inclusivos

  El objetivo de esta conferencia internacional es cuestionar cómo los espacios sociales que pretenden ser inclusivos (escuela, universidad, espacio cultural, servicio público, etc.) tienen en cuenta o no las lenguas minoritarias. Su objetivo es dar a conocer y debatir iniciativas originales e innovadoras en sus dimensiones psicológicas, sociales, glottopolíticas, antropológicas, lingüísticas, pedagógicas, didácticas y digitales.

  La culture pop dans la Péninsule arabique

  Arabian Humanities n° 14 (Printemps 2020)

  La production en sciences sociales sur la culture pop dans la Péninsule arabique est particulièrement limitée. Si une littérature importante se consacre à l’analyse des cultures orales et de la poésie vernaculaire, rares sont encore les études des nouveaux media dans la Péninsule Arabique, des cassettes audio aux applis en passant par la production télévisée et YouTube. Ce numéro d’Arabian Humanities veut combler ce vide et analyser la culture pop en Arabie Saoudite, au Yémen, en Oman, aux Émirats Arabes Unis, au Qatar, à Bahreïn et au Koweït.

  Arizona Graduate Conference in French

  Le Département de français et d'italien à l'université d'Arizona est ravi d'organiser ce colloque auquel tous les mastérants et doctorants en français sont invités à participer afin d'avoir l'opportunité de : présenter leur recherche lors d'une communication orale avec le format traditionnel de 20 minutes pour la communication suivie de 10 minutes pour les questions et commentaires, en français ou en anglais ; ou présenter leur recherche en cours dans une table ronde qui permettra une communication de 15 minutes suivie d'un véritable échange et retour d'information, en français ou en anglais ; s'inscrire à des ateliers ludiques de recherche sur deux thèmes différents (voir Ateliers ci-dessous) ; rencontrer d'autres étudiants et des professeurs ; assister à deux sessions plénières de chercheurs éminents portant sur des thématiques différentes ; assister à un film francophone pour l'ouverture du colloque le 23 février.

  Black womanhood in popular culture

  De Gruyter Open topical issue

  In contemporary popular culture, black womanhood frequently takes centre stage. It occupies an increasingly central place and articulates new and renewed dimensions, prompting questions about the status of black women in the cultural imaginary of the United States and beyond. Most prominently, Michelle Obama's First Ladyship has sparked scholarly and media discussions around the significance of stereotypes associated with black women, the possibilities and limitations of public figures to create new images and anchor them in the cultural imaginary, and about the subject positions and images that express and shape constructions of black womanhood (cf. Harris-Perry 2011, Schäfer 2015, Spillers 2009).

  La circulation des savoirs linguistiques et philologiques entre l'Allemagne et le monde (XVIe-XXe siècle)

  By all measures, Germany played an overwhelming role in the development of philology and linguistics during the 19th century. This ascendancy rests on the transmission to other national academies of theoretical constructs and views, methods and institutional practices. On the other hand, German philological and linguistic ideas, methods and institutions were not constituted in isolation from the rest of the world : Transfers to the German-speaking world must also be taken into account.

While they have a long history of cultural accomplishments and political influences, they have remained marginal in international scholarship given their ambiguous position both in regional studies and in geopolitics. This conference is the second attempt to bring together a broad spectrum of the international community of scholars whose research is focused on the Uyghur people’s history, culture, society.

  Lo puro y lo impuro

  Hamsa. Journal of Judaic and Islamic Studies, nº 2

  Lo puro y lo impuro se establecen como categorías estructuradoras del islamismo y del judaísmo, abarcando segmentos tan dispares como el cuerpo, el vestuario, la alimentación o el propio espacio. El segundo número de la revista Hamsa va a centrarse en esa temática integradora, procurando englobar perspectivas históricas diacrónicas. En este sentido, se pretende potenciar el análisis de las relaciones interconfesionales, en las vertientes en que la pureza y la impureza se proyectan en el contacto con el otro. Pureza e impureza queapenas respetan a las propias minorías, como también se refleja en la propia Christianitas, a través de la interiorización de esos conceptos y la respectiva aplicación a las comunidades minoritarias (como el caso ejemplar del fenómeno de la limpieza de sangre).

  Le projet ERC-Starting Grant À chacun son réel, recherche menée sur les notions de réel et de réalité(s) dans l’art des années 1960 à 1989 en France, RFA, RDA et Pologne, organise à Paris, au Centre allemand d’histoire de l’art, une rencontre internationale les 11, 12 et 13 avril 2013 autour de trois ateliers de recherche rassemblant chercheurs confirmés, post-doctorants et doctorants et dont les thèmes de travail seront : Réalité(s), fiction, utopie.
