Est-il une pure potentialité, la promesse d’un monde radicalement différent et tout à la fois inimaginable ? Ou est-il considéré comme à jamais inaccessible, définissant notre expérience du présent comme un état perpétuel du sursis et de l’éphémère ?

  Le travail que le collectif de jeunes chercheur∙e∙s « Migrations et altérités » a mené durant toute l'année scolaire touchera bientôt à sa fin. Après l'organisation de plusieurs séminaires et ateliers, dont vous avez pu suivre l'actualité sur notre page, l'aboutissement de notre réflexion prendra la forme d'une journée d'étude intitulée "Entre recherche et action", lors de laquelle chacun des membres du collectif présentera une communication.

  Encuentro con el escritor Pablo Landeo y presentación de su novela en quechua “Aqupampa”

  La asociación Amériques del INALCO en colaboración con la Embajada del Perú en Francia organizan un encuentro con el escritor Pablo Landeo Muñoz y la presentación de su novela en quechua Aqupampa. Carlos Amézaga, Ministro de la Embajada del Perú en Francia abrirá el encuentro. La presentación de la novela estará a cargo del investigador César Itier (INALCO) y estará acompañada de un diálogo con el autor Pablo Landeo Muñoz y una lectura de fragmentos de la novela (subtitulados en francés). El grupo de música andina Paris Andes ofrecerá un concierto de clausura.

  Une discipline indisciplinée: défis à venir pour les études des cultures populaires

  This call for paper is for a workshop which it itself included in this year's international symposium of the AFEA (Franch Association of American Studies) which will happen in Nantes, France from May 22 nd to the 24th. This year's main theme of the conference is "discipline/indiscipline." (event for which you can find more information here: http://www.afea.fr/-2019-AFEA-Conference-Discplines-Indiscipline-.html) This workshop intends to address and explore further this binary dichotomy through the prism of cultural studies, interrogating more precisely if the emergence of pop cultural studies is truly something to advocate for. Communications can tackle this issue from a more theoretical standpoint, but they can also deal with more precise case studies which would illustrate how pop culture and cultural studies are both defying disciplinary classifications. Communications can be either in French or in English.

  Representations of Power and Power of the Image in British and American Contemporary Photography

  Représentations du pouvoir et pouvoir de l’image dans la photographie contemporaine américaine et britannique

  From the power of images to images of power, this workshop will explore the representations of power and the power of representation in contemporary American and British photography. What is photography capable of doing? Whether in the form of a public person, the environment of power (emblematic places and explicit or underlying forms) or its symbolism, what is photography capable of revealing about power itself? Political, institutional, economic or social power all depend upon a system of relations or tensions between groups or individuals (accepted, rejected, questioned, expressed visually or internalized) participating in the construction of the identity, myths or memories of the American or British nations. In what manner does photography enhance or contribute to this construction or deconstruction of the notion of identity and nation?

  La traductología en el Brasil

  Convocatoria Mutatis Mutandis Vol. 7# (1-2014). Editores de este número Martha Pulido, Grupo de Investigación en Traductología - Universidad de Antioquia y Sergio Romanelli Programa de Posgrado en Traducción de la Universidad Federal de Santa Catarina. Los estudios académicos brasileros en el campo de la traductología han demostrado, en las últimas décadas, una intensa producción bibliográfica, que cuenta tanto con textos de carácter teórico como de reflexión y traducciones. La traducción del portugués al español ha ocupado un lugar importante en esta producción. Invitamos a traductores e investigadores en el contexto brasileño a enviar a la revista sus trabajos.
