  Las ciudades americanas frente a los cambios globales

  Revista interdisciplinaria de trabajo sobre las Américas (RITA) N°13

  La constatación de cambios medioambientales a escala planetaria es hoy incontestable. Procesos interdependientes, como el cambio climático, la extinción de especies, el agotamiento de los suelos y la creciente escasez de recursos energéticos modifican profundamente, tanto desde el punto de vista material como en el plano simbólico, las condiciones de existencia de nuestras sociedades. Estas transformaciones sistémicas, que sobrepasan ampliamente el estricto ámbito del medioambiente físico o del cambio climático, pueden ser tratadas bajo el concepto de “cambios globales”, convertido en un importante objeto de investigación en los campos de las ciencias sociales y ambientales durante de las tres últimas décadas. Con motivo de su decimotercer número, RITA propone interrogar los cambios globales desde el enfoque de las ciudades americanas.

  Face au développement de nouvelles formes de fonctionalisme (smart cities…), le parti-pris de ce colloque pluri-disciplinaire est de réaffirmer la place des poétiques urbaines dans la fabrique contemporaine des villes. Centré sur les imaginaires, les images matérielles et les approches sensibles du quotidien urbain, il se déclinera à partir de trois objets thématiques : imageries urbaines ; ville douce et bien-être en ville ; habitat et habiter précaires. Les contributions sont ouvertes aux travaux de recherche, expériences ou projets menés par des chercheurs en sciences humaines et sociales, concepteurs d'espaces ou artistes.

  Another Music in a Different Room

  Resulting from a series of developed works in the last decade within the framework of social sciences (namely Sociology of Culture, Sociology of Arts, Sociology of Youth, Urban Sociology and Sociology of Music), in this advanced seminar we will have the opportunity of deepening the understanding around the importance, functioning, process, the agents, characteristics, genres and subgenres of the current urban music scenes. The ANOTHER MUSIC IN A DIFFERENT ROOM will be a fruitful space for ideas, discussions and, therefore, for a great developments on scientific knowledge. So, it’s our intention to share all this scientific dynamic with the world in order to contribute to a larger debate on music, youth, lifestyles, culture, cultural scenes, music scenes. In this context, the ideas and discussions held in the Advanced Seminar, both by lecturers and participants, will be published in a Collaborative e-book.
