  L'idée de ce colloque d'une journée sur Alexandre von Humboldt est de réunir des spécialistes de diverses disciplines qui couvrent aujourd'hui les nombreux domaines auxquels le travail et les idées de von Humboldt ont contribué, en particulier dans son œuvre maîtresse Kosmos (1845-1862). Nous voulons montrer comment le travail scientifique de ce plus grand encyclopédiste de la première moitié de l'Europe du XIXe siècle est plus que jamais au cœur des questions liées à notre planète d'origine, la Terre, et aux questions posées par notre entrée dans l’Anthropocène.

  Faces of Eros

  Journal of Phenomenological and Existential Theory and Culture

  Eros plays a central role in Western thought. In the philosophical and spiritual traditions, it usually refers to physical love and desire. Eros is a recurring character in the pre-Socratic cosmogonies, and it is the main impulse of the philosophical quest for truth in Plato’s Phaedrus. This Special Topics issue of PhænEx wishes to give a new impulse to philosophical reflections on this fundamental and ambiguous phenomenon, following an interdisciplinary perspective at the intersection of phenomenology, post-structuralism, and social sciences (psychology, sociology, sexology, anthropology, linguistics, etc.).

This one day event will also mark the end of the first phase of the labodanse project (labodanse.org) with Myriam Gourfink. Pour cette troisième édition des rencontres Conscious Body, nous invitons chercheurs et danseurs / performeurs à explorer ensemble l’espace inter-subjectif qu’occupent le performeur et le spectateur. It has been continuously studied by people interested in logic, philosophy and Aristotle during two thousand years. Even Frege, one of the main founders of modern mathematical logic, used it. This congress is an interdisciplinary event gathering logicians, philosophers, mathematicians, semioticians, artists, cognitivists, and computer scientists.
