5º congreso de la Sociedad Internacional de Ergología

¿En qué medida la Ergología puede ofrecer una mirada pertinente en el campo de temáticas tales como el trabajo, el patrimonio y el desarrollo? ¿En función de qué parámetros su contribución puede ser singular e innovadora? Con el objetivo de establecer un balance y de postular nuevas perspectivas, el objetivo principal del V Congreso de la SIE es el de poner en debate, a lo largo de tres jornadas, los trabajos que, en distintos lugares del mundo, han hecho la opción de involucrarse en esta reflexión, aun habiendo anteriormente privilegiado otros marcos de referencia. La diversidad de enfoques constituirá entonces un punto de partida esencial de este encuentro que se postula como pluridisciplinario.

What difference do DIY cultures make?

KISMIF Conference 2018 will be preceded by a Summer School entitled ‘What difference do DIY cultures make?’ (KISMIF Summer School 2018) on 3 July 2018 in Faculty of Arts and Humanities of University of Porto. The summer school will offer an opportunity for all interested persons, including those participating in the conference, to attend workshops led by specialists in these fields. Specifically, the Summer School offers thematic workshops expressly focused on the hands-on, music making, and place making of contemporary DIY cultures. Its approach will be methodological and focused on research for action.

Pour commémorer ses 30 ans d'existence, la revue Intervenção Social a décidé de renforcer son internationalisation, sous la forme d'un Numéro Hors-série annuel, publié et diffusé dans le cadre d'un nouveau cycle de coopération scientifique franco-portugaise. Placés sous la coordination scientifique de Michel G. J. Binet (ISSSL-ULL) et de Stéphane Rullac (IRTS Paris Île-de-France), ces numéros Hors-série, qui bénéficieront d'une circulation internationale dans les mondes lusophone et francophone, ont pris pour thème principal l'un des principaux paradigmes de la recherche en Travail social : la Recherche-action collaborative (RAC).

Lost and Transformed Cities: a digital perspective

The city is by definition a living entity. It translates itself into a collectiveness of individuals who share and act on a material, social and cultural setting. Its history is one of dreams, achievements and loss. As such, it also bears a history of identity. To know the history of cities is to understand our own place in the contemporaneity. The past is always seen through the eyes of the present and can only be understood as such. On the occasion of the 261^st anniversary of the 1755 earthquake in Lisbon, we invite scholars and experts in the fields of heritage studies, digital humanities, history, history of art and information technology to share and debate their experience and knowledge on digital heritage.

Digital Humanities in Portugal: building bridges and breaking barriers in the digital age

Discussion about the role of the Humanities in academia and society has a long history. The confluence of this debate with the changes brought about by digital technology is not new either: one cannot speak of "new technologies" for the Humanities when many researchers turned to digital methods at least four decades ago, in disciplines as diverse as Linguistics, History or Literary Studies. The Conference “Digital Humanities in Portugal” aims precisely to stimulate these intersections, opening up a forum for discussion and sharing of research results or ongoing projects in this field of knowledge.

El problema de la metodología etnográfica y antropológica

Revista Antropológicas

La revista Antropológicas acepta propuestas de artículos para publicar en la próxima edición, que se centrará el problema de la metodología etnográfica y antropológica. Los trabajos deberán ser presentados en la página http://revistas.rcaap.pt/antropologicas/login hasta día 28 de febrero de 2013. El número 13 de la revista se centrará el problema de la metodología etnográfica y antropológica, porque desde la afirmación académica de su lugar de conocimiento, la practica etnográfica bien como la escritura antropológica tuvieron múltiples debates, tanto por la originalidad de su metodología, como por el rigor científico exigido a sus profesionales. Entre las demás ciencias sociales, la antropología fue la que, en la discusión teórica sobre su razón fundamental, mayor capacidad crítica exigió, al cuestionar sus bases metodológicas.
