  « Fake news ». L’art et l’information : contrefaire la réalité, entre production artistique et enquête historique

  VII giornata di studi dottorali del Rome Art History Network (RAHN)

  Il tema delle fake news è di grande attualità e rilevanza per i mezzi e i fini con cui queste vengono messe in circolazione: esse hanno il potere di alterare la realtà e diffondere notizie prive di fondamento. Invero, la manipolazione delle notizie e delle immagini è sempre stata presente nelle discipline umanistiche, mossa da intenti encomiastici, sociologici o politici. La giornata dottorale del 2019 vuole indagare la modalità in cui l’alterazione del messaggio è stata assunta come verità nella storia dell’arte. Si intende analizzare l’iter del processo artistico e la conseguente creazione delle fake news: così, dall’idea della committenza si passa all’elaborazione dell’artista fino ad arrivare alla ricezione del pubblico. L’oggetto artistico diventa, dunque, veicolo di una realtà alterata. Spaziando dall’antichità al contemporaneo, il convegno vuole mettere in risalto le diverse metodologie impiegate dai dottorandi per delegittimare le fake news nella storia dell’arte.

  Le patrimoine industriel européen de la première guerre mondiale

  The First World War marked the history of Europe. It has been characterized by an unprecedented effort in industrial production, which today constitutes a common European heritage. The industrial heritage of the First World War, however, seems to be invisible: it is not identified or even defined as such, whereas this war was characterized by the massive use of industrial technology, both in the field of the production of weapons, aircraft and chemicals for military purposes as well as in the civil sector, particularly for agri-food production. It is interesting to note that conversely, the industrial heritage of the Reconstruction could be the subject of work. The organization of a European symposium, the first on this theme, is essential in order to establish an inventory of the material traces that still exist today and to draw the attention of the public authorities to the need to ensure their conservation.

  Modernisme et Ruralité : un point sur l'état des recherches (EAHN 2018 - Tallin)

  5eme rencontre international du Réseau Européen d'Histoire de l'Architecture, à Tallinn, juin 2018

  This session aims to address, from a historical perspective, the relation between, on one side, architecture and the related disciplines, and on the other side, agriculture and rurality at large. We welcome proposals specifically mapping case studies concerned with large-scale agricultural development and/or colonization schemes conceived and (but not necessarily) implemented in Europe and beyond during modern times (late 18th-20th century), strongly connected to nation- and State-building processes, and to the modernization of the countryside. We are particularly interested in those examples which aimed to “make the difference” in both scale and numbers, entailing radical reshaping of previously uninhabited or sparsely populated areas into new, planned, “total” rural landscapes.

  Dans le cadre des actions du projet « Art nouveau & écologie », le Réseau art nouveau organise une série de cinq laboratoires historiques avec le soutien du programme culture 2007-2013 de la Commission européenne. Le cinquième de ces laboratoires se déroulera à Rīga le 5 septembre 2014 et explorera le thème suivant : la cohérence des espaces intérieurs et extérieurs dans l’architecture Art nouveau européenne.

  The office as an interior (1880-1960)

  Au cours de la « deuxième révolution industrielle » augmente considérablement l’activité dans le tertiaire et se développent les services administratifs dans le secteur industriel et public. L’employé devient ainsi la figure sociale de la modernité urbaine, qui témoigne aussi du rôle croissant de la femme dans ce secteur professionnel. Le colloque The office as an interior (1880-1960) aborde l’essor du travail administratif entre 1880 et 1960 à travers l’analyse de l’émergence d´un espace nouveau, le bureau, qui par ses arrangements contribue à la diffusion de nouvelles formes de sociabilité et réalise des nouveaux modes d’organisation du travail.

  Das Büro als Interieur (1880-1960)

  Die sog. «zweite industrielle Revolution» steht für ein signifikantes Wachstum des tertiären Sektors (Banken, Versicherungen etc.) ebenso entstehen sowohl in der Industrie wie in den Ämtern und Behörden neue Verwaltungseinrichtungen. Damit einher geht eine massive Erhöhung der Angestelltenzahlen. Der Angestellte wird zu der sozioprofessionellen Figur der urbanen Moderne, wobei der berufstätigen Frau zunehmende Bedeutung zukommt. Die Tagung beschäftigt sich mit der Entstehung des Büros, um die Wechselbeziehungen zwischen physischem und sozialem Raum, Materialität und Praktiken, Strategien und Taktiken, Strukturen und Individuen zu analysieren. Ebenso soll das Büro in eine historische Perspektive gerückt werden, soll das Augenmerk auf die Bedeutung des Büros für die Strukturierung und Transformation der soziokulturellen Gegebenheiten von der vorletzten Jahrhundertwende bis Ende der 1950er Jahre gerichtet werden.

  L’œuvre d’art entre ambition identitaire et aspiration à l’universel

  L’œuvre d’art et le sens qu’on lui donne sont porteurs d’une tension : la création est tout à la fois symbole d’une identité culturelle spécifique et dépositaire d’un message d’ordre universel. Le propos de ce colloque est d’explorer, dans une perspective historique, cette dialectique identité / universalité de l’œuvre d’art.
