  Soft Law Research (Solar) Network

  Financed by the European Commission, the Academic Network of Soft Law Research (SoLaR) aims at stimulating the debate between academics and practitioners on the national role of EU soft law. SoLaR asks whether and how non-binding EU instruments are used bynational administrations when implementing EU policies and bynational courts when ruling in cases falling within the scope ofapplication of EU law. This final event will present the results of the project (to be published by Bloomsbury as an edited collection in 2020), introduce the policy recommendations and discuss follow-upactivities

  Populismos y neopopulismos en el mundo atlántico (Europa - América latina)

  Definiciones y conceptos a la luz de la evolución política de las últimas décadas

  Actualmente estamos viendo como en  una gran parte del mundo se está produciendo la aparición de nuevas formas políticas que, a falta de un mejor concepto, se denominan «populismos» o «neopulismos». Al tomarse como ejemplos la elección de Donald Trump en Estados Unidos o Jair Bolsonaro en Brasil, así como los regímenes de Vladimir Putin, Victor Orban, la Liga Norte y el Movimiento de las Cinco Estrellas, se puede observar como esta evolución ha sufrido una deformación patológica de una forma política que previamente habría existido en una forma «originalmente pura»: la democracia liberal. En este contexto, en el que los conceptos sólo se utilizan para alimentar la invectiva, nos parece importante reunir a investigadores de diferentes disciplinas y procedencias para favorecer los análisis comparativos o los intercambios que promuevan las perspectivas comparativas.

  The course France & the European Union investigates the political economy of European integration from the end of the Second World War to present day with a particular focus on the role played by France in this development.  It considers the incentives that have led an ever-larger group of European nations to form multilateral agreements around a growing range of policies that now incorporate such diverse spheres as defense, economics, and human rights. It then turns to the challenges Europe faces in maintaining the European Union (EU) in the face of growing skepticism among national electorates as well as attempts to undermine the EU (by Russia) or withdraw support from it (by the U.K. and the U.S.).

  Actes de justice, événements publics : les criminels de la seconde guerre mondiale en procès

  The conference suggests approaching trials of war crimes and of crimes against humanity, which took place in the aftermath of World War II and its following decades, as specific social events. By including professional and social actors (magistrates and police force, whistle-blowers, witnesses, defendants...) who got involved and shaped audiences of such trials, the conference endeavours to question the notion of publicization. It will cross this perspective with a study of the part played by the media supports in the organization and in the public reception of these trials.

  Les méthodes de synthèses de connaissances

  Les outils de l'Evidence-Based Policy

  Le Réseau des chercheurs en évaluation des politiques publiques de la Société française d’évaluation vous convie à un séminaire de recherche sur les méthodes de synthèses de connaissances, le 10 décembre 2012 à l’Université de Paris Dauphine, Amphithéâtre 11. La promotion des politiques publiques basées sur la preuve par un nombre croissant des gouvernements nationaux et d’organisations internationales soulève les questions de l’identification de connaissances disponibles sur les impacts des interventions publiques, de l’appréciation de leur crédibilité et finalement de leur synthèse pour éclairer la décision publique. A ce jour, deux méthodes reconnues ont émergé. La première emprunte aux outils de la « médecine des preuves » : revue systématique et la méta-analyse. La seconde, appelée synthèse réaliste, est inspirée des méthodologies des sciences sociales. Le séminaire de recherche, organisé avec l’aide de plusieurs partenaires, proposera une présentation et une discussion des méthodes disponibles (voir programme ci-dessous). Merci de noter que les présentations et échanges se feront exclusivement en anglais afin de faciliter le dialogue entre participants de différents pays.   Franco-German relations and the issues of transnational networks

  Le Franco-Allemand ou les enjeux des réseaux transnationaux

  L'année 2013 est marquée par la célébration des 50 ans du Traité de l'Elysée. C'est à cette occasion que le département des études interculturelles sous la direction de Prof. Dr. Dorothee Röseberg organise un colloque franco-allemand qui a pour sujet le Franco-Allemand. La manifestation aura lieu du 14 au 16 juin dans les bâtiments de la LEUCORA à Lutherstadt Wittenberg. Le colloque s'adresse particulièrement à de jeunes chercheurs francais et allemands qui travaillent dans le cadre de leur qualification sur des aspects du transnational.
