  Cultural and Creative Industries of Childhood and Youth

  VIIIth Interdisciplinary Conference on Child and Teen Consumption

  The interdisciplinary conference « Child and Teen Consumption » aims to facilitate in-depth dialogue between researchers from various disciplines: management, psychology, sociology, information and communication, anthropology, history, educational sciences, law, etc. Whilst the 8^th conference will aim to continue interdisciplinary research and dialogue on broad themes related to children and young people as consumers, the theme of the 2018 conference will be « Cultural and Creative Industries of Childhood and Youth » in order to reflect its location in Angoulême and the growing research and public policy interest in this topic. The conference aims to highlight research in this domaine and invites producers of cultural material to bring their views to the debate.

  School and Educational Spaces

  Revue Espaces et Sociétés

  The mass education movements seen in most education systems of the past fifty years have transformed the issues related to school and education spaces. There is a reconstruction of these spaces that questions traditional learning and education missions of the school with broader educational initiatives to meet new problems. This issue focuses on the reorganization of school and educational spaces in relation to local initiatives (local and regional authorities , community associations, popular education movements...) on social and educational issues that mark the contemporary school. In a competitive environment where urban and school areas are increasingly hierarchical, where internal divisions are reinforced, where the external borders are fluid, we question the links between spatial segregation, educational pathways and forms of treatment of new educational issues.

  L’association IAIMTE en collaboration avec I'IUFM de l'Université Paris-Est Créteil (UPEC) organise son neuvième colloque international qui aura pour thème : « Literacies and effective learning and teaching for all ». Il aura pour objet de réflexion les littératies. Les thématiques abordées lors du colloque concerneront la lecture, la production écrite et le langage oral, ainsi que le rôle de la littératie dans les disciplines, envisagées du point de vue des curriculums, des pratiques d’enseignement et des apprentissages effectifs des élèves.
