  East China Normal University is hosting a Summer School on the Governance of Socio-Ecological Systems (SES), which is a rapidly emerging issue in many environment related disciplines and especially sustainability science. The GOSES Summer School is organized together with the University of Reims and SENSE (Netherlands Research School for Socio-Economic and Natural Sciences of the Environment).

  The evolving relations between nation-states and Kurdish areas

  What impact on the modes of local governance?

  The departments of contemporary studies of IFEA (Istanbul) and IFPO organize a workshop in Erbil, the 29th of May 2014. This workshop aims at analysing the evolving dynamics of the Kurdish populated areas in Turkey, Iraq, Syria and Iran. More precisely, it will focus on the changing interactions between the nation-states and the Kurdish political actors, and on the impacts of these transformations on the modes of local governance.

  La science politique dans la cité : regards croisés France-Turquie

  Cette journée, a pour objectif de réunir des politistes de France et de Turquie pour réfléchir et débattre sur la place de la science politique dans la cité, alors que l'interrogation sur l'engagement des politistes devient plus pressante ces derniers temps dans les deux pays. Elle est organisée par l'IFEA le vendredi 17 février 2012.
