  Haitian Oraliture: Identity(ies), Structure(s), Memory(ies) and Representations through the Prism of Human and Social Sciences

  In tribute to Maurice Sixto on the occasion of the centenary of his birth

  This conference is an opportunity to pay tribute to Maurice Sixto, for his significant lodyans. The year 2019 is indeed the centenary of birth of this master of the spoken word, born in May 1919, and the 35^thanniversary of his passing, which occurred in May 1984. The contemporaneous legacy of Maurice Sixto encompasses various categories of lodyanseurs, among whom former cultural colleagues, talented impersonators, original interpreters and contemporaneous storytellers who, directly or indirectly, recognize themselves through the influence of the master. This event will be the occasion to discuss the multidimensional, psycho-sociological, didactic and aesthetic value of Sixto’s work.

  The politics and poetics of museology

  40th annual ICOFOM symposium

  It has become rather banal to speak of the museum as a place of power. Whether one refers to it as media, as medium, or as device, we must understand that this institution, emblematic of occidental civilization, has always aroused the interests of local political régimes, whatever they may be. The creation of the British Museum and the birth of the Louvre illustrate the many different ways the public has of seeing the links between knowledge and collections. Furthermore the advent of each new political régime (from democracy in America to the Marxist-Leninist system in the Soviet Union, passing by fascist Italy and national-socialist Germany) marks museums with its imprint, as well as its system of communication, preservation and research.

  Dans ce numéro Approches inductives en anthropologie les propositions d’articles pourront être faites sur les approches inductives et la méthodologie du travail intellectuel en anthropologie, sur l’usage des approches inductives lors de  terrains locaux, sur  les critères de validité et la reconnaissance disciplinaire de telles recherches, sur les modalités de réalisation et la reconnaissance des approches inductives en recherches anthropologiques institutionnelles, etc. Ce numéro portera donc sur les approches inductives en anthropologie et sur leurs défis lors de recherches locales. Les directeurs du numéro sont intéressés par les contributions empiriques, méthodologiques, épistémologiques et critiques et sont ouverts aux propositions interdisciplinaires.
