La creatività

Il Convegno, promosso dal Dipartimento di Scienze Umane dell'Università degli Studi Guglielmo Marconi in collaborazione con il Dottorato di ricerca in Scienze Umanistiche, ha l’obiettivo di studiare il tema della creatività secondo linee di ricerca transdisciplinari per favorire e valorizzare al massimo il potenziamento del confronto e la produttività scientifica. La creatività è l’arte, la capacità e la facoltà cognitiva della mente di creare e inventare: rappresenta una forma mentis che assume una funzione particolarmente significativa in rapporto ai nostri processi cognitivi, come l’intuizione, la percezione, il pensiero analogico, la simulazione, l’associazione di idee, la ricerca nel contesto di un problema strutturato, la riflessione, l’immaginazione, la rielaborazione personale, il pensiero critico.

Il tema della malinconia, nelle sue diverse declinazioni storico-artistiche, mediche, letterarie, filosofiche, psicologiche costituisce l’oggetto di una vasta letteratura. Del resto, lo stesso termine “malinconia” è un termine polisemico, associato storicamente a una grande varietà di gruppi di significati non sempre assimilabili tra loro. Il seminario intende approfondire le diverse valenze semantiche del termine “malinconia” in ambito religioso in età moderna, sia in campo protestante sia in campo cattolico.

The Gazing Society

Approaches to the history of vision in the modern period, 19th-20th century

The CSC (Centro Interuniversitario di Storia Culturale) is looking for discussants for its fore-coming international conference on "The Gazing Society. Approaches to the history of vision in the modern period (19th-20th century)", that will take place in Padova, Italy at the beginning of 2012. The conference aims to be a stimulating opportunity for approaching the study of "the gazing society" between the 19th and the 20th centuries. Each historical period can be said to be characterized by its own “visual structures“, and, thus, by perceptive experiences, practices and languages which are culturally determined. History, and in particular modern history, can therefore offer a broad scope of research. The aim of the conference is precisely to build a comprehensive picture of the state of the art as well as to foster an international debate on the topic. The conference will be held in Italian and English.

Dialogues between Theatre and Neuroscience

Pour la troisième année consécutive, la Sapienza Università di Roma accueille des artistes, des performers, des metteurs en scène, des chercheurs et des scientifiques originaires de nombreuses universités italiennes et étrangères à l’occasion du troisième colloque international Dialogues entre théâtre et neurosciences. À l’image des précédentes éditions, ce colloque sera l’occasion d’échanger et de réfléchir ensemble à de nouvelles trajectoires communes, de jeter des ponts entre des domaines de recherche qui demeurent habituellement étrangers les uns aux autres. Les études théâtrales, les neurosciences, la psychologie cognitive, la neuroesthétique ou encore les études artistiques.
