  Steering Innovation in Communication Infrastructures

  The interaction between technological innovation and governance of communication infrastructures — the essence of the “guiding star”, as suggested by the title — constitutes the theme of the conference in February 2020. We wish to explore how innovation was steered by postal and telecommunication companies, as well as by other public and private players in the field of communication infrastructures: enterprises, governments, professional and state organizations, the users.

  Crises – causes, interprétations et conséquences

  Journée annuelle de la Société suisse d’histoire économique et sociale

  La journée annuelle de la Société suisse d'histoire économique et sociale qui aura lieu le 24 avril 2010 à Berne est consacrée à la thématique « Crises – Causes, interprétations et conséquences ». Il s’agira de dresser un bilan des crises des XIe au XXIe siècles en abordant des thématiques susceptibles d’intéresser les sciences historiques et, plus généralement, les autres disciplines des sciences sociales. Les recherches, adoptant une perspective comparative et permettant ainsi de situer les crises en Suisse dans un contexte international plus large, sont vivement encouragées.
