  Globalización Humana: Migración, Trabajo, Generación, Movilización Social y Fronteras

  Cet événement scientifique entend valoriser les nouveaux enjeux de recherche sur la migration à l’heure de la généralisation de la mobilité dans le monde entier. La thématique retenue pour cette rencontre « Crises et reconfigurations migratoires » s’inscrit ainsi dans le prolongement de la réflexion menée depuis 2012 par l’ensemble du groupe de recherche, sur les évolutions et les implications des mobilités à partir de l’étude des zones Amérique Centrale/Mexique, Proche et Moyen-Orient/Maghreb. La complexification de la migration et de ses implications sur les sociétés et les territoires est ainsi appréhendé par les chercheurs à travers l’étude des évolutions d’institutions centrales tels que la famille, le travail ou encore le territoire. La crise constituera ainsi l’approche principale de la remise en question constante des structures sociales et migratoires.

  Les camps de réfugiés palestiniens en Jordanie

  A Lasting Temporariness: Population, Space and Social Practices, 1990-2010

  This one day workshop will focus on the social and spatial organization of the camps, the social practices of their inhabitants, and the influences, interpretations and effects of what we call a lasting temporariness on the Palestinian refugee camps in Jordan. Due to their significance and status, the camps represent key social spaces for exploring patterns of interaction between different religious groups and national minorities, for examining governance, for studying development and planning issues (infrastructure and services), for mapping the constitution of territories and identities, and for analyzing the development of an intricate network of economic and political connections inside and outside of their spaces.

  Dynamiques et enjeux des relations interconfessionnelles en Égypte

  Le dernier recensement égyptien, effectué en 1996, comptabilisait 3,5 millions de coptes soit environ 6% de la population. Ces chiffres, jugés beaucoup trop faibles par la plupart des coptes mais confirmés par des études indépendantes (Courbage and Fargues 1997; Denis 2000) font néanmoins de ceux-ci la plus importante communauté chrétienne du Moyen-Orient. Le discours officiel, tenu aussi bien par le gouvernement que le Pape Copte et les représentants de l’Islam d’état, insiste sur la bonne entente interconfessionnelle dans le pays et sur l’égyptianité de tous. L’âge d’or de la lutte pour l’indépendance sous l’égide du parti Wafd où chrétiens et musulmans œuvraient ensemble à l’expulsion de l’occupant britannique est ainsi régulièrement invoqué pour démontrer l’attachement et l’appartenance de tous à l’Egypte et occupe une place centrale dans le discours nationaliste officiel égyptien (Droz-Vincent 2002).
