  #MariellePresente - Transnational Resistances

  The Gender and Diversity Journal, a feminist and queer review from the northeastern region of Brazil, invites everyone to submit articles, essays, interviews, field journals, reports and other texts for the special issue entitled "#MariellePresente: Transnational Resistances". The texts must describe and analyze the transnational responses following the assassination of the Brazilian Marielle Franco. She was a black woman from the favela, political activist, feminist and lesbian. She was murdered at the corner of a street in Rio de Janeiro in March 2018. Given the political nature of her assassination, many actions denouncing the crime were organized around the world.

  Quantum Social Theory: The Future of Sociology?

  In sociology, without explicit basis on quantum theory, numerous streams established strong similarities with it, setting at the forefront of their paradigm: the subjectivity of the observer, the continuous adjustment between the object and the observer, the impossibility to be fully deterministic or discussions about an objective reality. In this session, we invite panellists to discuss the links that can be drawn between quantum theory and sociology. We welcome both empirical (qualitative or quantitative) as well as theoretical papers. Depending on the variety and the quality of the papers, a publication will be considered to set the basis of this emerging theoretical stream.

  A produção científica promovida por instituições e pesquisadores dedicados às diversas áreas do conhecimento tem congestionado o calendário acadêmico brasileiro e internacional com inúmeros eventos; muitos deles dimensionados para reunir milhares de pesquisadores, professores e estudantes, que procuram apresentar e discutir seus trabalhos, assim como os de seus colegas pesquisadores. Frequentemente esses eventos são, também, pensados para tratar de temas dentro de áreas de conhecimento muito específicas. O SITRE é o lugar onde se encontram e se recobrem em suas interfaces as Ciências Humanas e Sociais Aplicadas, as Ciências Exatas, a Educação, as Engenharias, a Filosofia. Onde se encontram pesquisadores, mas também docentes dedicados ao estudo da educação, do trabalho e da identidade e questões relacionadas ao gênero e ergologia.
