Imagining the Future of Multilingualism
Education and Society at a Turning Point
Since 2008, the Conseil Européen pour les Langues / European Language Council (CEL/ELC) has hosted a Forum every two years. These Fora seek to bring together representatives of higher education institutions, of European institutions and organisations, such as, for example, the European Commission, the European Parliament, and the Council of Europe, and of European associations like the European University Association (EUA) as well as scholars with a special interest in European integration, policy development, and multilingualism. At the centre of 2020 discussions will be the role that Higher Education can and should play in the promotion and development of multilingualism as a key aspect of European cooperation – related to facets such as language policy, internationalisation, language and knowledge, education and mobility, to mention just a few. In this context, participants will also reflect on the future role of the CEL/ELC by identifying and analysing new challenges that have arisen in our changing world.

2020 Conseil pour les Langues/European Language Council Virtual Forum
At the centre of this Forum discussions, the Conseil Européen pour les Langues / European Language Council (CEL/ELC) will underline the role that higher education can and should play in the promotion and development of multilingualism as a key aspect of European cooperation – related to facets such as language policy, internationalisation, language and knowledge, education and mobility, to mention just a few. Il Convegno, promosso dal Dipartimento di Scienze Umane dell'Università degli Studi Guglielmo Marconi in collaborazione con il Dottorato di ricerca in Scienze Umanistiche, ha l’obiettivo di studiare il tema della creatività secondo linee di ricerca transdisciplinari per favorire e valorizzare al massimo il potenziamento del confronto e la produttività scientifica. La creatività è l’arte, la capacità e la facoltà cognitiva della mente di creare e inventare: rappresenta una forma mentis che assume una funzione particolarmente significativa in rapporto ai nostri processi cognitivi, come l’intuizione, la percezione, il pensiero analogico, la simulazione, l’associazione di idee, la ricerca nel contesto di un problema strutturato, la riflessione, l’immaginazione, la rielaborazione personale, il pensiero critico.

En effet, le concept et le terme de médiation apparaissent dans diverses sciences humaines et sociales (ex. droit, philosophie, psychologie, sciences du langage, sciences de l’information et de la communication, sciences de l’éducation…). Au vu de plusieurs conceptualisations dans ces disciplines, il devient urgent de discerner l’essentiel de la médiation et d’en mettre en lumière les traits conceptuels les plus significatifs au sein de chaque discipline ainsi que de façon transversale à ces dernières. Faisant suite au colloque international « L’essentiel de la médiation. Vers un consensus sur le concept dans les sciences humaines et sociales » (Padoue, 1-2 mars 2018), un appel à publication pour ouvrage est lancé et ouvert à tous les auteurs qui souhaitent participer à un ouvrage pluridisciplinaire et interdisciplinaire de référence sur « l’essentiel de la médiation ».

The role of drama in higher and adult language education
From theory to practice
The Summer School is aimed at Master’s students, PhD students, young researchers, scholars and practitioners in the area of second language learning and teaching who already engage in or would like to become involved in theatre/drama activities and research into these. The Summer School will be divided into morning seminars, in which examples of good practice and research methodology will be presented by experts in the field. The afternoon sessions, instead will be devoted to practical workshop activities. The last morning will consist of a round table where participants will be encouraged to reflect on possible future collaboration and projects.

Family morphologies: Leone and Natalia Ginzburg in Italian and European literature and culture
Focusing on the works by Leone (1909-1944) and Natalia Ginzburg (1916-1991) the Summer School is dedicated to a reflection on the authors’ contribution to the 20th century Italian and European history. Besides a critical analysis of their creative and intellectual activity and their civic engagement, the participants will have the opportunity to debate the role both Leone and Natalia had in the publishing house Einaudi, and to experiment new methods of teaching literature. The program includes 3 plenary lessons and 5 seminars. Special guest: Carlo Ginzburg.Language of the activities: Italian.

Il ne s’agit donc pas de faire une étude sur le traitement médiatique de la diversité, ou d’engager la profession dans une posture militante qui consisterait à promouvoir cette question de la diversité, mais bien d’interroger et de comprendre l’exercice de la profession de journaliste dans cette configuration particulière et ainsi répondre aux défis de nos sociétés contemporaines.

Ce colloque a pour objectif de mobiliser les moyens de valorisation, de pérennisation et de mutualisation des savoirs qu'offre le champ du numérique, afin de constituer une communauté de pratiques valables pour les disciplines couvertes par le domaine des études francophones en Italie. Il vise également à ouvrir les études francophones à l'internationalisation en permettant une rencontre entre des acteurs des « humanités numériques » en France et ailleurs et ceux qui défendent des initiatives numériques dans le domaine des études francophones en Italie.

On the 6 and 7 June 2013, for the fifth consecutive year, Sapienza Università di Roma will be organising the International Conference “Dialogues between Theatre and Neuroscience”. The theme chosen for this year’s conference is the following: In what ways does interdisciplinary encounter change the disciplines involved? In what ways can the practices and studies of theatre change the research praxis of neuroscience? In what ways can the theories and paradigms of neuroscience modify the research praxis of theatre, in both its performative and academic cultures?

À l’occasion du troisième colloque international « Dialogues entre théâtre et neurosciences » organisé par le département d’histoire de l’art et du spectacle de la Sapienza université de Rome, il est prévu d’organiser une journée d’études doctorales qui aura lieu le troisième jour du colloque (18 mars 2011). Cette journée d’études s’insère dans le cadre théorique qui sera celui du colloque et l’on appréciera tout particulièrement les propositions d’intervention qui aborderont les points suivants : l’action, la complexité, le bios et esthétique entre théâtre et neurosciences. -

Cette sixième édition sera organisé par le Centre Interdépartemental Qua_si de l'Université de Milano-Bicocca (www.quasi.unimib.it), membre de l’association internationale Ticemed (www.ticemed.org). Ce colloque international, né autour du bassin méditerranéen et ouvert aux contributions provenant du monde entier, vise à confronter les méthodes, les techniques et les expériences acquises dans le domaine de la formation à distance par l'ensemble des chercheurs, des enseignants et des praticiens. L'innovation dans le domaine des Technologies de l'information et de la communication pour l'enseignement a permis le dépassement des contraintes spatiales et temporelles créant ainsi une ouverture vers des prospectives novatrices pour le monde de la formation au coeur desquelles l'individu joue un rôle central.
