  VIIIe semaine internationale de sociologie

  Du lundi 12 au jeudi 15 mars 2018 se tiendra la VIII^e semaine internationale de sociologie sur « l'Allemagne dans l'Europe ». Sept conférences de sociologues, de germanistes, d'une historienne, d'un anthropologue et d'une politiste éclaireront la position aujourd'hui centrale de l'Allemagne dans une Europe en mutation. Suivies de débats et de moments d'échanges conviviaux, ces interventions pluridisciplinaires et comparatistes invitent à mettre en perspective une Allemagne au coeur de multiples enjeux contemporains, politiques, économiques et sociaux de l'Europe.

  Aspects juridiques et opérationnels de l’action en mer

  Ce séminaire s'inscrit dans le quatrième work package du programme de recherche ERC (European research council) Human sea qui s'intéresse aux « nouvelles activités en mer – analyses préliminaires du cadre juridique ». Il s'agit d'étudier notamment : les influences et ambitions maritimes internationales de l’Union européenne ; les défis migratoires et les trafics illicites en mer ; le rôle des agences maritimes européennes.

  Theological Foundations of Modern Constitutional Theory: 16th-17th Centuries

  Fondements théologiques de la théorie constitutionnelle moderne : XVIe-XVIIe siècles

  This conference aims to assemble different studies laying bridges between modern constitutional theories and theology from the perspective of intellectual history. Though modernity of law and politics has been usually accounted in the context of Reformation, the paper-givers’ approaches to the question will not be restricted in any confessional perspective, Protestant or Catholic. For, whatever the word ‘theology’ may have connoted in the time of religious confrontations, theoretical attempts to legitimize human rights and political authority at those days can be regarded as part of the general current of philosophical investigations, in a new manner and with different foci than ever, into the concept of justice with reference to that of God.
