  Après l’appel à contributions consacré à l’évolution des acteurs professionnels du champ de l’urbanisme, ce sont les objets, les non-humains qui nous intéressent ici. Comment l’arrivée de nouveaux objets modifient-ils les perspectives en matière d’énonciation, de conception et de gestion de la ville ? Participent-ils d’une façon renouvelée de concevoir la fabrique urbaine ? De nouveaux objets pointent-ils vers de nouveaux usages ? Infléchissent-ils les pratiques ? Comment mobilisent-ils des sources de financement, favorisant leur mise en œuvre (à l’instar des subventions accompagnant la mise en œuvre des tramways dans la période 1990/2000 en France) ?

  The new scientific Journal City & Tourism is launching its first call for article. We will favor unpublished articles based on the fields of geography (cultural, human and environmental) as well as management and marketing-communication. Empirical work from field surveys is also expected.

  Appliquer à la notion d’« urbanité » les principes du développement durable, tout en élargissant le champ de la recherche, implique de prendre en compte un ensemble coordonné de problématiques qui lui sont consubstantielles. La question de la convergence thématique entre ville durable et le sens de l’habiter — qui lui est organiquement liée — qui conduit en effet à associer dans une thématique commune les enjeux liés à la soutenabilité de la ville contemporaine, et les contraintes que cela impose. L’enjeu central des réflexions abordées dans ce colloque porte particulièrement sur la « ville intelligente » : en quoi — sous quels aspects ?, sous quelles formes ? — permet-elle (ou non) d’aménager les conditions de cette convergence entre la thématique de la « ville durable » et celles de l’« habiter » et de l’« urbanité » ?

  Labels in the field of cultural and natural heritage

  Created in the 60s, the label's use for cultural and natural heritage has increased dramatically for several years, specially in France. Inherited from the marketing and trade world, the use of labels for cultural and natural heritage illustrates the expansion of heritage's conception to new artefacts and new cultural properties, in an anthropological meaning. Some recent studies on the cultural and natural heritage labels  insist on the economic benefits for development of territories. But the legal and institutional dimensions of labels in heritage have been ignored. The goal  of the symposium is to define and precise the purposes and the caracteristics of labels in the field of heritage.

  Following the study days dedicated to “architectural and town planning professions faced with the involvement of residents and users” in 2012 and “sustainable town planning and architecture know-how and models” in 2013, the aim of the Ramau 2014 conferences is to concentrate on the relations between sustainability and “management” in the field of urban development and architecture. The incorporation of sustainable development in architectural, urban and landscaping operations seems to have the effect of increasing the concern for management logic in the project process.

  Risque environnemental et action collective

  La journée d'études « Risque environnemental et action collective », qui se déroulera le jeudi 11 octobre 2007 à l'IFRESI, constitue l'achèvement d'une opération de recherche interdisciplinaire (géographie, économie, sociologie, science politique, sciences de gestion) qui s'est déroulée durant deux années (nov. 2005 - oct. 2007) et qui a réuni une dizaine de chercheurs, issus majoritairement des universités et des centres de recherche de la région Nord-Pas-de-Calais. La journée sera l'occasion de présenter les résultats de cette recherche collective et de les confronter avec d'autres chercheurs invités pour l'occasion. L'accès à cette journée est libre mais requiert une inscription préalable (Contact : opetitfr@yahoo.fr).
