    Living the heritage - architecture in peril. From domestic habitat to ancient sites

    Des architectures en péril. De l’habitat domestique aux sites anciens

    Le patrimoine n’est plus limité au monument historique, rare témoin d’un moment de l’histoire, mais a évolué vers une conception plus large, qui peut comprendre, à la fois, les ensembles urbains, les sites et paysages, ou encore  les savoir-faire ou traditions. Ainsi, sont reconnus comme patrimoine, à côté du monument œuvre isolée, les œuvres domestiques, témoignages d’activités des plus élémentaires aux plus complexes. Notre rapport au patrimoine s’en trouve complètement bouleversé. De simples observateurs, admirateurs d’une œuvre d’art sacralisée, nous nous retrouvons acteurs dynamiques dans la transformation de notre espace, que l’on considérait comme un habitat domestique courant, en espace patrimonialisé et donc à sauvegarder et à conserver.

    Nature and culture-based strategies and solutions for cities and territories : an idea whose time has come !

    Echopolis international 2018

    The event is not strictly European. It is aiming at bringing together scientists and cities and territories from all over the world that plan or implement innovative nature and culture-based solutions, thus creating a world-wide forum of exchange of their success stories. However the Mediterranean region with its rich natural and cultural diversity, both terrestrial and marine will be very present ! The event will host the MED Social and creative community featured by TALIA (Territorial Appropriation of Leading-edge Innovation Actions), the Interreg-MED Programme’s horizontal project promoting the coherence and impact of modular projects addressing the topics of Cultural and Creative Industries and Social Innovation.

    Before and after tourism

    The post-tourism future and civil society

    The aim of this call for papers is to elicit experiences and/or analyses of the beginning or end of tourism, as well as interpretations of the end of the differentiation between the tourist and ordinary worlds which we are currently observing. Comparisons and attempts at modelling will be welcome. The papers may be proposed by researchers, practitioners or associations and may be jointly authored. They must deal with one of the three topics described below, which are to be the subject of three successive seminars.
