  Congrès 2018 de l' Association française des enseignants-chercheurs en cinéma et audiovisuel (Afeccav)

  Ce congrès a pour ambition, non seulement de proposer un bilan sur la configuration et les contours de l’audiovisuel européen – des cinémas d’Europe –, sur son histoire, son esthétique, les pratiques sociales, culturelles, économiques qui lui donnent corps, mais aussi de lui adresser de nouvelles questions.

  The Price of Peace: Modernising the Ancien Régime?

  Europe 1815-1848

  In many historiographic traditions, the so-called "Restoration" has been depicted as an awkward interval between the Napoleonic Wars and the age of nationalism. This international conference has the ambition of breaking down old myths and stereotypes about the ‘Restoration’ in order to think more broadly and openly about the key transitions and issues. The conference will revolve around the provocative historiographical issue of whether the post-Napoleonic order represented an attempt to reconcile the heritage of the Ancien Régime with a deeply transformed world. Topics explored by panels of invited experts from across Europe will include Rethinking the "Restoration", New departures in international relations, Constitutions vs. Charters, Rebirth of composite monarchies, Before and Beyond the Nation, Historicising the Ancien Régime?, New borders and old identities.

  The 2016 edition of the journal Etudes écossaises will focus on Scottish culture, history and politics through the prism of migrations and borders. Papers in English or French will be welcomed from specialists in all fields of Scottish studies including arts and literature, civilization studies, history, political science, culture and the media.

  Revista História e Cultura

  La revista História e Cultura, publicación electrónica de los estudiantes de la Facultad de História de la Universidad del Estado de São Paulo - UNESP (Franca), realiza convocatoria para la presentación de contribuciones para el dossier temático 'Historia y Literatura en el siglo XIX'. El dossier privilegia los trabajos interdisciplinarios sobre las relaciones entre producción literaria y contexto histórico en el siglo XIX. La temática podrá ser abordada según ejes complementarios, más particularmente, historia literaria; elites intelectuales; historia, poder y cultura letrada; literatura épica e historia; literatura y proyectos de construcción de la nación; identidad nacional en la literatura y momento histórico; nacionalismo literario e historia; revistas políticas.
