Mapping Conflicts, Conflicts in Maps
The International Society for the History of the Map organizes its Second Symposium on Friday 13th June 2014, in collaboration with the French National Library and the French Committee of Cartography. The topic of this symposim is the relationship between conflicts and Cartography, wether the map represents the conflict or is used within a conflict (dispute, war) or a diplomatic framework. The conference takes place at the French National Library, Richelieu site. Entrance is free, papers and discussions are in English.
