  Geoarchaeology and archaeology of the city of Cádiz, Spain

  This workshop-seminar organised in Strasbourg will be focusing on the archaeology and geoarchaeology of Cádiz. New sedimentary cores drilled in a marine palaeochannel crossing the city in Antiquity will be discussed. Researchers from the University of Cádiz, the CNRS, the ENGEES, and the University of Strasbourg will be present.

  Le réseau MC3, pour Mediterranean Cities and Climate Change, recrute un·e secrétaire d'édition pour une durée de six mois, pour mener à bien plusieurs missions de coordination et d'animation co-mandatées par trois organismes, MC3, le Groupe d'experts régional sur le climat (GREC) PACA et le Labex OT-Med. Ces missions s'inscrivent dans un bilan à différentes échelles des connaissances sur l'interface entre ville et climat, dans le cadre des grands enjeux de l'environnement.

  Dans le cadre d'un programme financé par A*MIDEX, le Laboratoire population environnement développement (LPED) est chargé de constituer un réseau d'institutions sur le pourtour méditerranéen dans le but d'effectuer un bilan des connaissances et un relevé d'expériences à l'interface entre changement climatique et ville. Nous recherchons un(e) chercheur(e), titulaire d'un doctorat en sciences sociales avec une orientation urbanisme et/ou environnement (géographie, sociologie de l'environnement, urbanisme, architecture avec orientation urbanisme ou environnement, sciences du paysage). Dans le cadre de cette mission, le (la) chercheur aura à effectuer des missions dans des pays du pourtour méditerranéen.

  Mediterranean Great Wildfires. Which reply to environmental disasters ?

  Special issue of Mediterranee (2014)

  This issue focuses on the great wildfires that periodically devastated the Mediterranean since the end of the 1990s, with huge political and social consequences (France, Greece, Croatia, Italy, Spain, Turkey, Algeria and Portugal, especially in 2000, 2007, 2009 & 2010). Special attention shall be paid to the forest-city interface. Multidisciplinary contributions are welcome.
