  Medical assistance in procreation and gestation for others through the prism of law, the social sciences ad philosophy

  Les États généraux de la bioéthique, lancés le 18 janvier 2018 sous l’égide du Comité consultatif national d'éthique s’achèveront en juillet 2018. L’objectif est d’aboutir à une révision des lois de bioéthique, qui pourrait être soumise au Parlement à l’automne 2018. Y sont abordées les questions soulevées par les procréations assistées : l’assistance médicale à la procréation (AMP) ou procréation médicalement assistée (PMA), et la gestation pour autrui (GPA). Les situations des Français qui recourent à l’AMP ou à la GPA à l’étranger soulèvent de nombreuses problématiques juridiques ; et mettent en évidence les effets du droit et des normes sociales sur le corps des personnes, la famille et la filiation.

  Ethicomp 2014

  Liberty and Security in an Age of ICTs

  ETHICOMP 2014 (june 25 to 27) will be held in Paris at « Les Cordeliers ». The ETHICOMP conference series was initiated in 1995 by Professors Simon Rogerson and Terry Bynum. The purpose of this series is to provide an inclusive forum for discussing the ethical and social issues associated with the development and application of Information and Communication Technology (ICT). Held every 18 months, the previous conferences have featured over 600 papers from delegates and speakers from all continents. ETHICOMP 2014 will be the first conference held jointly with the CEPE (Computer Ethics: Philosophical Enquiries) conference (sponsored by INSEIT - the International Society for Ethics and Information Technology). Our conferences will be hosted by CERNA.
