The interaction between technological innovation and governance of communication infrastructures — the essence of the “guiding star”, as suggested by the title — constitutes the theme of the conference in February 2020. We wish to explore how innovation was steered by postal and telecommunication companies, as well as by other public and private players in the field of communication infrastructures: enterprises, governments, professional and state organizations, the users.

Interfaces numériques est la première revue scientifique francophone dédiée au design numérique. Née en janvier 2012, elle a pour objectif de faire coopérer des professionnels, des chercheurs universitaires et des chercheurs en école de design sur des problématiques liées au design numérique que les sciences humaines traitent avec une ouverture pluridisciplinaire réelle. Ce futur numéro souhaite proposer de façon explicite un questionnement sur le développement des TIC, les politiques d'usages et la croyance qu'elles vont permettre de relever les différents défis sociétaux à venir. Une approche critique qui amène aussi à se demander si les TIC ne font pas émerger à leur tour des défis à relever...

The reticulation of the world 2: art technology and textiles
La journée d’étude « La réticulation du monde (2) – art, technologie, textile) » est le second volet d’un projet pluriannuel initié en 2014 par les écoles d’art du NPDC et Le Fresnoy. Cette seconde journée a pour fonction de proposer un approfondissement de la problématique du « réseau » à travers son paradigme initial : le textile. Elle trouve son ancrage dans l’histoire du terme même de « réseau » qui désigne à l’origine un filet (« résueil » est un filet de pêche ; « résille » est un tissu à larges mailles qui couvre initialement le visage) ; mais aussi dans l’histoire de la région qui fut, de la fin du XVIIIe siècle à la première moitié du XXe siècle, un haut lieu de la production textile.

Le programme ANR jeune chercheur « La maison Mame à Tours (1796-1975) : deux siècles d’édition pour la jeunesse » arrive à son terme. Il donnera lieu, les 17 et 18 mars 2011, à un colloque de clôture organisé à l'Hôtel de ville de Tours.
