  Cultural and Creative Industries of Childhood and Youth

  VIIIth Interdisciplinary Conference on Child and Teen Consumption

  The interdisciplinary conference « Child and Teen Consumption » aims to facilitate in-depth dialogue between researchers from various disciplines: management, psychology, sociology, information and communication, anthropology, history, educational sciences, law, etc. Whilst the 8^th conference will aim to continue interdisciplinary research and dialogue on broad themes related to children and young people as consumers, the theme of the 2018 conference will be « Cultural and Creative Industries of Childhood and Youth » in order to reflect its location in Angoulême and the growing research and public policy interest in this topic. The conference aims to highlight research in this domaine and invites producers of cultural material to bring their views to the debate.

  The ethics of accompaniment and cooperative action in education, health and training

  Knowledge and practices in dialogue / heuristic controversies

  Le colloque s’intéressera aux métiers et fonctions de l’accompagnement dans les champs du travail social et de la formation (accompagnement, « validation des aquis de l'expérience » (VAE), transitions professionnelles, tutorat) mais aussi dans les champs pédagogiques, de la santé et de l'intervention sociale : comment penser et traduire en pratique l'accompagnement à l'école, à l'hôpital, dans l'entreprise, dans un foyer d'hébergement ? Nous proposons de penser l'accompagnement, non comme un ensemble de méthodes visant à soutenir des parcours individuels normés, mais comme une fonction anthropologique fondamentale, assumant les processus de réciprocité et de co-réflexivité dans les pratiques interindividuelles (du conseil, de l’orientation, de la consultation, du soin…) et les dynamiques collectives des communautés et groupes professionnels.

  Over and Over

  Exploring repetition in popular music

  Over and Over: Exploring repetition in popular music aims at identifying and studying the recent aesthetic and analytical developments of musical repetition. From the 32-bar forms of Tin Pan Alley, through the cyclic forms of modal jazz, to the more recent accumulation of digital layers, beats, and breaks in Electronic Dance Music (EDM), repetition as both an aesthetic disposition or formal musicological property stimulated a diversity of genres and techniques. After decades of riffs, loops, vamps, reiterated rhythmic patterns, as well as pervasive harmonic formulae and recurring structural units in standardized song forms, the time has come to give these notions the place they deserve in the study of popular music.

  Reach and limits of "Timetable research"

  Temporalités journal no. 20 (2014/2)

  Les Enquêtes emploi du temps (EET par la suite), fondées sur une méthodologie élaborée au début du XX^e siècle – le carnet d’activités –, notamment en URSS où elles visaient à prendre la mesure du travail domestique, se sont répandues par la suite dans la plupart des pays développés. Elles ont acquis une dimension internationale grâce au travail pionnier de Alexander Szalai (1972) mené conjointement dans douze pays en 1965-1966. L'appel à articles de cette nouvelle livraison de Temporalités souhaite solliciter des contributions visant à analyser la conception du temps véhiculée par les EET mais également leur portée, leur potentiel et leurs limites.
