  Religiosités séculières et sacré laïque

  Ce colloque traite des métamorphoses du religieux et du sacré en contexte laïque, notamment à partir de la notion de « religion séculière » développée par Éric Voegelin et Raymond Aron, mais aussi de « religiosité séculière » forgée par Albert Piette. Pourquoi naissent ou semblent progresser, de nos jours, les religiosités séculières ? Par quels mécanismes se diffusent-elles et à quels besoins répondent-elles ? Faut-il y voir la preuve que l’homme continue d’être un « homo religiosus », et par conséquent insister sur un continuum ; ou doit-on plutôt envisager de manière disruptive la sécularité qui les sous-tend et qui semble dénaturer quelque peu le champ religieux tel qu’il se déploya pendant près de deux millénaires ?

  Politiques du corps

  Le corps interroge de plus en plus les sciences sociales et humaines. Il s’impose comme sujet-objet de recherche non seulement en tant que produit et représentation culturels, mais aussi comme matérialité propre, elle-même productrice des formes de vie. La politique des corps désigne justement cette subjectivité corporelle active et signifiante. Il s’agit donc d’interroger celles-ci non pas comme objets passifs soumis à l’investigation de l’intelligence (ou l’esprit) d’un sujet transcendant, mais comme sujet qui exprime un réseau de relation et d’interactions où s’estompent les oppositions longuement consacrées entre le matériel et l’immatériel, le corps et l’esprit, l’objet et le sujet, la nature et la culture, le biologique et le psychologique, l’immanence et la transcendance, le visible et l’invisible.

  Interest in the subject of “Women, Religions and Gender Relations” has intensified especially from the mid-1990s in Europe – more recently in Italy – spreading beyond the borders of the sociology of religion and gender studies. The call is designed to offer a platform to scholars to present their research on the topic and exchange their ideas on research findings at an international level.

  New Patterns, Realities and Pitfalls

  The workshop will analyse the interaction and the interpenetration of nationality, ethnicity and identity through the problematic of transnationalism, globalization and nation-state perspectives. The workshop will be supplemented by practical visits to local communities. Participants are invited to consider the theoretical debates and issues in differing local areas with a variety of social practitioners and representatives to gain further insights of demographic, economic, philosophic, legal and socio-anthropological approaches.
