  La figure martinienne, essor et renaissances de l'Antiquité tardive à nos jours

  As part of the Saint Martin's year 2016 (1700th anniversary of the birth of Saint Martin), an international conference will be held at the University of Tours on the theme of “Saint Martin, expansion and revivals in his popularity from the origins to the present day”. The conference concerns not only the historical field but archeology, art history, sociology, theology, literary studies. The focus will be on the lesser known aspects of the theme, e.g. the revivals of saint Martin's cult in some regions of Europe at different periods; or ethnological and anthropological dimensions and their impact on art and literature; or theological appropriation of the saint Martin's figure.

  Doctoral students workshoip in visual anthropology (ADOCAV)

  Les étudiants en anthropologie qui font de l’image leur terrain d’étude (que ce soit à travers la pratique du cinéma documentaire, de la photographie, ou l'analyse d’œuvres et archives audio-visuelles) sont nombreux mais dispersés dans les différents centres de recherche de l'EHESS. La vocation de ce séminaire est de rassembler les étudiants en anthropologie visuelle dans une optique d'échange et d'approfondissement des travaux en cours, afin de créer une dynamique commune de recherche tout en respectant la pluralité d’approches, de méthodes et d’objets, propre à notre discipline. Notre objectif pour l'année 2012-2013 est de nous rencontrer une fois par mois, et de regrouper deux interventions d'étudiants, librement proposées en amont par des doctorants ou des étudiants de Master, en fonction de leur thématique commune.
