  Arabian Humanities Thematic Issue No. 15 (Spring 2021)

  This issue of Arabian Humanities proposes to offer a multidisciplinary overview of the Sultanate of Oman contemporary period by bringing together old and recent works. It will focus as much on its history as on the major social and cultural changes that have taken place in its society. The aim is to explore the different aspects that can be observed today and which contribute to a better understanding of this country over time.

  Making and unmaking territories in contemporary Turkey

  Partant du constat de la montée en puissance des questions territoriales dans la société civile et dans les sciences sociales turques, ce numéro thématique de l’European Journal of Turkish Studies a pour ambition d’interroger la fabrique des territoires dans la Turquie contemporaine d’un point vue idéologique, praxéologique et épistémologique. Qui fait (et défait) le territoire ? Avec quels moyens et de quelles manières ? Que reste-t-il de l’action planificatrice et régulatrice de l’État ? Comment les acteurs politiques mais aussi les experts, militants et scientifiques pensent aujourd’hui le territoire, son extension, ses dynamiques et ses disparités en Turquie ?
