  First international seminar for post-graduate students in Sport History

  A first international seminar for PHD and post-graduate students in sport history (political and cultural perspectives) supervised by Prof. Dave Day (Manchester Metropolitan University) and Prof. J.-F. Loudcher (Bordeaux) is planned at Bordeaux between the 11^th September and the 13^th September 2017. It is the first of a series of seminars between the two universities (the next will be in Manchester) and will provides an opportunity to establish new relationsships and partnerships with students ands researchers from all over the world. In addition, this one will have a workshop on European project research funding on cultural and political sport coaching in a comparative way for an application in 2018. It is possible to just attend the seminar and the workshop.

  Cette journée d’étude de recherche vise en premier lieu à favoriser les échanges entre chercheurs chinois et chercheurs français concernant leurs approches respectives de la recherche (sciences sociales, sciences de gestion) en tourisme. Il s’inscrit dans les collaborations déjà fructueuses entre les collègues de l’université de Ningbo et les collègues français, en particulier enseignants-chercheurs à l’université d’Angers (UFR ESTHUA « Tourisme et culture »).

  Concepts in the sociology of sport in the Francophone world. A comparative approach to the state of play

  AISLF colloquium

  Le sport fait l’objet d’analyses sociologiques et anthropologiques depuis plus d’un demi-siècle dans les pays francophones. Il s’agira, lors de ces journées d’étude, de réfléchir sur la construction des savoirs dans ce domaine. Le questionnement épistémologique sera central, posant le problème à la fois de la place du sport dans les études sociologiques et anthropologiques et du rôle des contextes nationaux dans la production de savoirs plus ou moins cumulatifs dans la sociologie du sport de langue française.
