  La Casa de Velázquez et l’Institut archéologique allemand de Madrid organisent la septième édition de leur atelier de formation pour jeunes chercheurs du 17 au 21 juin 2013, à Madrid, coordonnée cette année par Bertrand Goffaux, Dirce Marzoli et Fedor Schlimbach. Les travaux porteront cette année sur le paysage religieux urbain et suburbain en Occident, entre le I^e et le VIe siècle ap. J.-C.

  James Zebedee, the "translatio" and the Jacobean pilgrimages

  7th International Colloquium Compostela

  The 7th International Colloquium Compostela aims at analysing the myth of the "translatio" of the body of Saint James from Palestina to Santiago de Compostela and its impact in the historical construction of the Jacobean pilgrimages.  As in the former editions, focusing on an interdisciplinary approach, the Colloquium analyzes the state of the art in the archeological research of Palestinian and Compostela in the early centuries, the studies about the traditions of the translatio, the iconography and the literary and social impact of the "translatio" and the current reality of pilgrimages to Compostella.

  Regards croisés d'archéologie et d'histoire

  Ce projet de rencontre se donne ainsi pour objectif trois principales directions: fédérer des études régionales sur le monachisme, jusqu’à aujourd’hui paradoxalement assez éclatées ; réunir historiens et archéologues, qui travaillent souvent avec des approches méthodologiques ou des cadres administratifs différents, autour de problématiques communes ; pour finir, élaborer une réflexion pluridisciplinaire qui permette d’aboutir à un premier bilan des récents acquis sur les formes et les stratégies d’implantation des réguliers dans l’espace Rhônalpin.
